***** Ho Blender has come a long way, its got some nifty features and a great community too. Now that you have a basic knowledge of 3D from blender, it makes it easier to learn another, albeit a little confusing to begin. I hope you have an easier time!
Hey, youre tutorials are realy good and easy to understand, it would be pretty nice, if you would cover particle effects like smoke fire and fluids in your next tutorials and also go into the realistic Rendering with mantra, because this was always hard to understand for me :)

Select all the objects, whether in the viewport or in the network view, and delete them all. To reset your desktop go to Desktop in the main menu and select Build.

Might be a driver problem.
Yes, I was using integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600. Buying discrete GPU solved the problem.
What do you mean by "Templated?
