Ok guys I've gotten all your comments. Apparently I was lied to and Samara WAS in high school (I think the word "campus" just confused me along with many others) so there was nothing wrong with that relationship !! Thank god because I kind of liked them together even for the brief time it happened. Thanks for clearing that up!
In to kill a mocking girl Hanna says that wilden was in the class of 1996. This puts him at about 31 when he and Alison had their relationship. I’d say Call the police but he’s one of them 🤮 what tf was going on in that writers room. Disgusting
Samara was in high school. She goes to Sheridan Prep which implies preparatory school. I think them calling it a “campus pride group” made it confusing to people since most people don’t refer to high school as campus they just say school.
i think it’s because we meet her from her schools “campus pride group” so people assumed it was a college campus. i don’t really refer to a high school as having a campus
Loved this video ! And i really wish wren wasnt so old cause i did love his relashionship with spencer and loved their chemistry ... but even if this show is very entertaining it is VERY VERY VERY problematic 😅 You should also really rank who makes the most problematic decision to who makes the least problematic choices kinda thing 😅
15:44 when I started watching the show I was 14 years old and I thought that Ezra and Aria was a good relationship because I thought that it was appropriate to date a teacher but when I was watching season 4 and I saw that Ezra was writing and spying on Aria I was so angry at him after that i didn’t ship them anymore
i think when discussing the inappropriate couples it should include more than just full on predators?, though that would be most of the couples i guess. for instance, emily n paige (paige tried to kill her), alison and her husband (he drugged her, made she think she was insane, then continued to abuse her in every way possible), hanna and sean (hanna constantly trying to force him to have s3x with her), emily and mayas "cousin" -i forgot his name- (very stalkery and tried to kill her), EMily and her boyfriend at the start, ben was it? (he tried to SA her in the locker room) Byran and his student (gross as he was a teacher, even if she was in college). Alex Drake and Toby is another one that is overlooked a lot, he didn't consent to having s3x with Alex, he thought it was Spencer and therefore no consent. I know this is a fairly old video but I only just came across it and would be interested to see what you think :)
I love both this show and hating on it. The Twilight effect, I suppose, but I think this probably deserves jail more? Honestly that would be one hell of a debate.
It’s so weird because if it weren’t for the fact that it was made for children to consume this show would actually be an incredible & accurate representation of male predatory behavior & how teenage girls should be wary of pretty much every grown man they interact with. I’ve been viewing it through this lens rewatching as an adult woman & at some moments I’m like “Wait, is this show kind of feminist and genius?” but then I remember that Ezra and Aria END UP TOGETHER & I’m like “No, it’s just bad.” 🙃
Idk why but you also really reminded me of tilly in friends 😅😅😅 shes their for like 5 seconds in the show shes eddies ex girlfriend idk if im the only one who thought this but ya 😅

Finally someone who doesn't think Wren is adoreable

yeahhh I think thats what threw me off lol. I corrected it in a pinned comment!
When I’m watching this I had the thought that you should’ve had a tier called “Rosewood Cops” 😂
& it’s even funnier that this show is completely fiction so the age gaps are on purpose lmao they could’ve easily wrote different characters 😂😂
samara was clearly a high school student i'm not sure where everyone suddenly got the idea that she was an adult
i think it’s because we meet her from her schools “campus pride group” so people assumed it was a college campus. i don’t really refer to a high school as having a campus
Mona tells them that she knows Ali’s not pregnant cause she has her disry
Oh I missed that. The relationship was still gross either way though

same! I also thought they had good chemistry (probs more than her and toby tbh) but the age gap was just gross

I ship Holden and aria
Glad you added Samara and Emily to this list; I always see people over look them as an inappropriate couple

We had a campus pride group in my high school, so I'm pretty sure Samara wasn't in college
