Change the fabric a bit, and my two little grandsons would love it as well, especially snaps. Looks great to fit in their car bags (to go bags). I started that when the girls were little. Long car trips, they had a bag of things to do in the car, and change of clothes. They were color coordinated, like everything, so there were no arguments. 😊❤ These would be great for Secret Santa gifts for work. Put the little gift inside. Lots of ideas... thanks Christine 😊
I love these little bags!! A good way to use up small pieces of fabric. The construction is very neat, no raw edges. Congratulations on branching out and offering merchandise! Thanks for all your videos and inspiration, Christine! 🇨🇦
Almost 100k! Exciting. Well deserved. This looks like a cool n fun project. Nice stocking stuffer for sewing friends. I’ll be back when the CCs come on. Just got new hearing aids yesterday but haven’t connected them to my iPad yet. Fingers crossed. Thanks, Christine.
I lov e the way you give both metric and imperial measurements. Also the way you do not assume that everyone has the same tools as you use. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and passion.
Just saw this little bag on another video this morning but not clear directions as yours. Going to try to make one after dinner! You’re the very best teacher!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🏅🪡✂️🧵
Oh yes! What a smashing idea. These will be perfect in Christmas fabric to house those 'special' little gifts. Imagine opening a little pouch to find it filled with tissue paper and a little surprise nestled inside. Love it! I'm off to get started with my many Xmas and interfacing scraps. 😂 Thanks Christine. 😊😉
Thanks Christine just another so cute pouch easy to make the fabrics are just lovely i will be making some of these keep these small projects coming so enjoying them have a nice day
Congratulations on your Merch! I have already gotten my calendar but I do like that you have chosen the wire top. I find these hold up better throughout the year rather than the hole that some creators choose.
I love the way you made the flat panel with finished edges and then sewed it together from the outside. I am sure there are many applications for this technique. These little pouches could be made from vinyl or leather too, without the lining and stabilizer, of course. I also like how you use the stabilizer as the pattern. It makes the eventual cutting out of the fabric so much easier. Thanks so much for your great ideas!
I have a bunch of small swivel hooks or clips that I ordered from Temu. I didn't check the sizes, just the price. This will use up at least some on them. And the secret project will help with my scraps. THANKS!
hello, i cant read the last measrements the for the tiny bag the 4th one you cut in half, the pencil is to light for these old eyes. is it 5 inches? because the wings are 2 i/2 .
Made one exactly like your instructions and then decided I would like the top flap a bit longer and it didn't turn out at all. How can I adjust that flap and it still look good?
I extended mine, after cutting off the last section for the sides, I measured the longer section up another inch and a half and made it into a point, I then measured one inch on each side of the tip so it looks like the back of an envelope now.
I've been a sewer now for 10 years. Everything i make never sells, and I end up giving them to charity. Do you have any tips and tricks on how to be a successful business at all? What are the best things to sew and sell?
Nola, I have a playlist on my sales reports that will give you loads of ideas for what sells for me. i put one out every three months. There are other suggestions in them too. Labels are essential to have on your products too. ruclips.net/p/PLwdRgjJztIb2CzNSBcHjG_tuG8UU2aKkS&si=r9gL-Ghtx8e4BuE-

Thanks for today Christine. Your calendar is nice .😊
Thank you Karen😁
Congratulations on your Merch! I have already gotten my calendar but I do like that you have chosen the wire top. I find these hold up better throughout the year rather than the hole that some creators choose.

Thanks so much for your great ideas!
Thanks so much Gail. I often use the stabiliser as my pattern. I find I have less errors that way😁
These are adorable!
Thanks Tamara😁

Thank you Kay. Merry Christmas to you too😁
Thank you! I'm going to make some to use as gifts boxes!

Thank you very much 💖🇫🇮
My pleasure Sirpa😁
So cute. Love using up those cuts of interfacing. I have to watch RUclips on the QT. I miss the closed captions on this one.
I had no idea that closed captions didn't come up straight away.😁
Great project. Thank you! That longer one might be better with a zipper.
I agree Elizabeth. I must figure out a way to do that😁
I like these and was thinking about using my upholstery fabric as well. Thanks for your ideas and demostration.
I think they'd be great with upholstery fabric Susan😁
I have a bunch of small swivel hooks or clips that I ordered from Temu. I didn't check the sizes, just the price. This will use up at least some on them. And the secret project will help with my scraps. THANKS!
I made the same mistake with several of my purchases Sara😁
They are so cute turbo you very much.. And your tutos are wonderful ..❤❤
Thanks so much Lilliane😀
Congratulations on your new merch! Yay yay yay
Thank you Amy😀
Love it! Any to add to my list lol
Thanks Nita. You're going to be very busy😁
These pouches are so useful in the different sizes. I still have found my plastic snap pliers. 🙄💕
Oh that's a pain. Perhaps you could order the cheap one that comes with the assorted snaps, or dig around in the shed for something that might work😁
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs haha, yeah, I have one in my Amazon cart. ☺💕
Great project that is ideal for my granddaughters. Thanks for sharing. What size stitch did you use for topstitching the swivel clip?
Thanks Melissa. I think I used a 3.2mm stitch😁
@@ChristinesHomeAffairsThanks so much. Getting started.
Cute pouch (and tutorial)...but I'm unsure why the swivel clip? Did I miss something in the video that explained why it was added? Thanks
Thank you. A lot of people like to have them hanging from their bags or belt loops. Especially if walking the dog and need to carry treats😁
I didn’t put the clasp on but still made a tab on the front
Good idea Kerry. I think it's nice without the clasp😁
❤
Thank you Sheila😁
hello, i cant read the last measrements the for the tiny bag the 4th one you cut in half, the pencil is to light for these old eyes. is it 5 inches? because the wings are 2 i/2 .
The measurements arr on the screen at 8:52 seconds. The last one would have been 4in x 2 ½in then cut in half for the wing
Good job Kerry. Thanks for the tip😁
🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thanks Joy😀

What do you mean ‘wedding?
No weddings hereMarsha. I meant webbing. Cotton webbing or you could use bias binding or ribbon😀
