Can you believe ten of thouands of people gathered for a surprise event that officially announced just 30 minutes before the show? All started from an Army tweeted 5 hours before the show "Ey, why are people cleaning the Billboard?". Twitter went full on detective mode right away and without knowing whether it's true or not, they just made a bet and flooded Times Square. And they won, US ARMY were so lucky to witness a legendary performance in real time. I'm so proud to live in the same era of a legend in the making, JUNGKOOK, you are a MEGA GLOBAL POP STAR!!!
Qofy: The wildest thing about this appearance was; Big Hit/Jungkook about 2:00pm in the afternoon, put a cryptic message that basically said; Jungkook has a surprise for you at Times Square at 5:30. ARMY did the impossible, They filled Times Square and supported Jungkook.
He packed Times Square at rush hour (5:30 pm) with only official notice of about 30 minutes. All that was announced the day before was that there would be a surprise for ARMY in NY the following day. Detective ARMY's kept a watch out and when the Calvin Klein ads started running on the billboard (where the video/live happened), the news got out. Insane popularity! Insane talent! And, it was FREE and recorded Live for us FREE. How many artists do That?!?!
