- Concerto No. 2 in G minor, Op. 8, RV 315, "L'estate" (Summer)
1. Allegro non molto
2. Adagio e piano -- Presto e forte
3. Presto
Arranged for 2 Pianos by SHIRIN
Played by SHIRIN&HERBERT
What's confusing to me is that most people only know 8:00 onwards, that's "Summer" for them. It's such a waste cause the first movement is absolutely stunning. Like 1:21, 3:15 and especially 5:23, my favorite part easily where everything that was building up to that point comes together. 8:00 is amazing too of course.
couldn't agree more
8:00
i luv it how someone post the time of that part in every version of this piece on youtube
Tut What an incredible part !
this gave me the chills, i cant believe i have never heard a piano version of this.
I've listened to this easily 100 times, and honestly, I could listen to it 100 more times.
Thank you
Why not the winter alongside?
01:21 💚
I live in the middle east. And summer is not a "fun let's go to the beach season" it's more of a "fuck you dragons breath 24/7, cook without an oven, unbearable shit season" this piece perfectly convey this espically at middle to the end.
I have watched this video so many times over the years. It has truly brought me joy. Thank you for uploading!!
Thank you
5:22 gave me chills!
My favourite part 03:05
✨🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟✨👍🎶🤗 meravigliose dipinti 🍀🌿
I just started learning for this and my teacher was like “listen to the song it’s what ur gonna b learning next” and I’m like ok since she hasn’t given this big of a project so I saw the time and already I’m liek “welp. Fun” get to the cuckoo and I’m already praying for my future self. By the end of the song I’m dead. Bc of my future and cuz it’s rly nice lol
beautifoul....but....some mistakes in harmony! ;-)
1:57 to 2:04 is so good...

❤
Are there sheet music?
Loooooove
Thank you 🌻
this is quality work, by both performers and composer.
I am the 700th liker (person to like this song) but I am also playing this for one of my friends birthday. I am so dead
edit: I didn't look at the pictures until now.... uh, well unlike. I am 13, and this should not be here.
Beautiful🥰
But to be honest I think the paintings are absolutely not fitting into this song. Summer something agonizing at that time in Vivaldis eyes. You all have to read his discription of summer guys. Just saying🥴

amazing
Very Very nice and beautiful and difficult ... RESPECT
8:00
I've heard several versions of this before, and this is BY FAR the best one. cheers
Why can I never find a version like this on Spotify :((
is there any way i can download these great performances?
Thanks in advance!
@guatebarbi19113 yeah..love it ♥ XD
Brilliantly executed!
9:10
love it
love tha last movement
Unfortunately that's the only piece in the whole collection of concertos that does not work on piano. Listen to the normal violin version.
last movement sounds good enough = sounds like it works
Jason L Okay, music is of course subjective after all hehe!
I am actually a huge fan of the piano versions in general especially winter. I love the winter concertos no matter what instruments are employed.
+EarlRegent same here. Winter is my fave, whether you're talking about Vivaldi's composition, or just the season in general. I ❤️ Зима! (Winter in Russian, my native language. ❄️ = :3)
I have heard of that last movement simply referred to as Storm when it is played out of context of the rest of the Summer concerto. But I have also seen a few Beethoven pieces with the same name of Storm.
