This information is useful even today (2022). Note that cleanliness and lube apply to disc brakes as well.

What a life-saver this turned out to be. Finally I know how to do it correctly. The butcher mechanic I wasted money on screwed it all up.

I never used a pressurized brake bleeder tank for years and it was never a problem. However, I am considering a Motive Products brake bleeder for my freelance work.
    EDIT:
6:20 If someone confuses brake parts for the right wheel and left wheel, the automatic brake shoe adjusters will make the brakes loosen up when the should tighten them.
8:10 By "No foreign parts" I hope he only means "No parts that the car was never equipped with." I don't know how often I replace brake parts, and several countries are on the packages.
14:28 That is another tool that was no longer used for many years. People take a brake shoe bore gauge and take measurements at different angles to find the high and low spots in the drum. Then, no matter how good the drum measures, it gets machined when new shoes go on, or a new drum goes on when the old drums are too worn for machining.

Just an FYI: This tech video is referring to 1960 Chrysler (same up to 1962) and none of the brakes are automatically self adjusting. All 4 wheels require manual adjustment, each shoe, 8 adjusters in total. Not the best system but it’s what on my 300F.
