Hope the cabinet lets you rotate the screen, adding a (tilt) switch to inform the pi to adapt its config, saw a video by wifisheep about bootup gpio checking done by the pi, e.g. if gpioXX is off do landscape, if gpioXX is on (tilt switch) then do portrait. (or on/off) see video "Pi 400 Cartridge : Building a product - Part 1" and maybe "Pi 400 Cartridge : SD Card Setup update - Part 1-1"
@@BytesNBits a circle with a square for the screen, the circle fits in a round hole in front part of the case, handle(s) to rotate, need stoppers / fancy screws to limit rotation to 90° (prevent stressing the wires) Easier to have 2 circles, 1 inner cut out of the front face and 1 a bit larger on top of the inner to prevent falling into the case. on the inside the inner could have some tabs gliding over the backside preventing the 2 circles to fall out.
Hi. Yes. There's a Pi3B installed. In car should be fine. It's a nice neat package with a single USB power supply needed for Pi and screen. With a Pi on the back it is quite thick though - about 35mm.
I don't know if you know this, but now you can use cheap tablets as a monitor. All the new cheap capture cards that cost between $7 to $20 gives you this ability. The reason is......the tablet or computer.... whatever you use will read the capture card like a USB camera. Just download any USB camera application and the device will display as a monitor. Those cheap capture cards are Elgato killers. You wanna buy a 3.0 capture card to have zero delay.
Thank you for your video introduction, we will focus more on products and services in the future.
No problem. Thanks for a great display.
Wow, nice monitor! looking forward to the arcade cabinet!
Me too!
Thank you for your compliment and hope you have a pleasant shopping experience.

Hi. Not sure if my woodworking skills are up to that but I'll definitely give it a look.

@@jyvben1520 Thanks for the construction tips. Sounds good. I better brush up on my jigsaw skills!
a full arcade cabinet when???
Hi. Hopefully this summer. The build should be fairly easy with this unit. I just need to sort out a cabinet.

Did you already have a pi hooked up to the back of the display in this video? it’s possible to use it in car audio?

Hi. Thanks for the tip. I use one for my hdmi capture on the PC but hadn't thought to connect it to a tablet. I'll give it a go.
Man sounds like horizon
Can you put a ps5 on this?
Hi. The screen will accept any hdmi input. Remember it's not a full HD display so you'll loose resolution but should be fully playable.
@@BytesNBits Awesome, thank you for the response.
