當初日本SONY做的電玩(太八)，竟然會找香港人去唱它的英文主題曲，這問題困擾了我20年之久，不過，王菲唱英文歌真的好聽。
王菲是北京人，只是早期在香港发展。之所以选中她来演唱，是因为作曲人植松伸夫偶然听到了王菲的唱片，认为她的声音和情绪符合该曲，同时又有相应的国际知名度。
