Love Costco, it’s worth it to me!

I'm seriously thinking of dropping Costco when my membership expires. They offer fewer and fewer items that I really need, other than pet food. Not much into their furniture, clothing, or prepared foods, including their rotisserie chicken, which is way too greasy and sweet for my taste (in the minority here, I know).

My husband and I just got a new membership two days ago. I'm glad we got it before the new increase started 😂

@@miketheyunggod2534Well you can pay for everyone’s then! I’m F’ing tired of hearing “It’s Only” well with that kind of thinking is what’s got the economy all F’ed up with the it’s only kind of thinking! It’s only a $1 it’s only $5 before you know it it’s gonna up $10,$20 or more! Stores like Costco think they can charge whatever and people will continue to pay and still shop in their store! But here’s the thing we do have a choice and I for one choose not to pay the jackasses anymore of my money on what’s already overpriced in their stores already! Also forcing 2 people to prove that they live in the same household so both of them can get 2 cards on the same membership is Bull 🐂 💩! Me and Wife went with our daughter and our daughter said mom and dad go ahead and get what you need and I’ll use my membership card! So we did and they started bitching about her using her membership card in order for us to shop In their store! She said this is my parents they said it doesn’t matter so we had to go and get our own membership in order to get our items that we had! But when we went to pay we had to prove we lived in the same place oh hell no Sam’s Club doesn’t do this 💩! And so many families do this at Sam’s Club where they get 2 memberships and they don’t live in the same house! Heck my mother-n-law gave us our membership In Sam’s club and my pictures on it and they never asked to see my address! So anyway I told Costco to stick their store up their ass! My daughter went to customer service and demanded her money back for her membership since she just renewed it! And they refused so she contacted their corporate office and she still hasn’t seen a single cent! To many damn rules In Costco for my family to ever consider getting a membership there! Oh and my daughter went straight to Sam’s club and she gave her other card to a friend with no issues!

It’s seems odd to me that people pay for the ability to shop in a store.

The memberships are the company's source of 92% of their profits. The majority of what they sell has a 0% mark-up. So the customers can save a ton of money overall.

I canceled my membership back in February. My reasons was because Costco flipped out because I bought in my reusable grocery freezer bags to keep our food cold for the drive home in Texas extreme hot weather. We always found the crowds at Costco and the parking lot overwhelming. I have a sam’s club membership. we shopped at Sam’s club, Kroger, walmart, and amazon. Costco has to make changes before I would ever consider going’s back as a member.

raising it that much will make some ppl stick with Sams club. they are offering membership this yr for 1 yr at 25$ for reg. before it was 15$. i like Costco coz i find things i dont at other stores. we have an executive card. but 10$ increase is alot. after 1st hearing it would only be 5$. they make alot of $ as is, shouldnt get so greedy.
