Okay everyone, hear me out. This is just something I've been wanting to discuss. I am a person who believes that EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON. And BI leaving iKON last 2019 is one of them. Some of you are still upset about his departure but didn't y'all notice that with WHY WHY WHY (Also Flower), Chan, Song and DK (especially DK) stood out the most? I have just watched somebody upload a vid about iKON's line distribution and guess who was on top? It was our noise pollution Ju-ne followed by BI. So him leaving, although it's too frustrating and unfair, gave room for the other's vocals to shine. Not that they were lacking before. And him leaving also gave way for DK's producing/composing talent to stand out as well. So you see? We may hate it when BI left the group, but it doesn't mean nothing good will come out of it. I'm saying this cause I see people who still can't get over the fact that BI left already. And there's nothing we can do about it, really. Even members couldn't save their brother. But this is a new era right? It's a beautiful one. We must give it to them. They're still the iKON we loved and adored. This is from someone who is coming to terms that iKON is now a group with 6 members. And that's OKAY. iKON with 6 members doesn't make them less talented. Thanks for reading my long post. I totally agree with you, although fans not being able to move on from BI not being part of the group is something that we really can't take away from them. It's like grief for someone who died--even if you move forward, it will always have a bittersweet space in your heart. I think this is especially the case for those who have been with them since the beginning. A member leaving never really occurred to us. For me, it's not just grief for B.I being gone as an a member, but of iKON's life as 7 happy brothers unaffected by everybody else, performing happily together come what may. I think, however, this era has become a healing point for iKONICS. We finally know that all 7 boys are well, and genuinely smiling again.
I agree. I see Chanwoo have shine more than before. His performance and visual is getting better and better. Its like he finally step up his game. Regarding BI departure, I think that's BI decision and I feel people need to respect that. I mean the fault is on korean media in the first place. BI feel guilty for it to happen and he want to take responsibility. I think he knew that if he choose to stay, it will effect to the group so he decide to departure alone. At least this is what I always see the attitude of knetizen. Knetizen being toxic. Now BI have comeback as solo artist and hope one day he will collabrate with ikon. Even they are not together as group and not under same company, they can do some collabration together.
