Well done buddy. If you don't mind me making a recommendation though. When adding a texture, if you're adding it to the backing and the foreground text, when they don't need to be the same texture.
You used the same texture for both, if you want to do this, try flipping the texture, or making it different so that it is not just blending with the other. You definitely fixed the problem when you went in with the eraser, and drop shadow to differentiate the two, but if you ever miss something simply flipping the texture before hand will solve it.
