    Hello Chris, Once again another great video! The music is always so fitting for the occasion and places me in the mode and of that time period you give history about and then investigste. Another huge Thank You to You and your Crew. I have played guitar many many years but only recently have tuned to 432 as opposed to 440. 432 is in key with our Earth. It makes a far more balance in feeling and spirit. Gegorgian chant was done this way. It was only in the 1950s when 440 was decided to become standard worldwide. Beethoven played all his music in 432. If you haven't already Chris, tune into the comparison of the two frequency examples and feel the difference. Love, Light and Peace. DaveyJO

    Hi Bonnie, It was a very beautiful location, and I do appreciate your supportive comments - quite apart from the `dragonfly` which to reiterate, arrived late this year and as I confirmed were still in larval form at the time I filmed this show :) Anyway, more work is planned to video.

    I'm back for another of your videos. I neglected to mention in my last comment that the music & photography are excellent as well as the stories & your presentation. I have encesteory from England & hope to travel there sometime. Thanks for the lovely visuals and fascinating stories. Great video! 😉👍

    Hello Chris, This is the third time I've watched this video, perhaps the forth and I don't get tired watching. What a Lovely place. The TVP smell was interesting indeed. It is funny of what smells one might come across in the middle of nowhere sometimes. And what those smells might be. In Gettysburg one summer night I smelled gunpowder and rotting flesh, which makes more sense there than TCP at this location. So one never knows about a scent a spirit might use to get our attention. Thank You Kindly! Love, Light and Peace! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania.

    I think the anomaly that was spotted above your hand was a nature spirit chris, I've seen similar,
    keep up your episodes, I love your sensitive, respectful and straight approach to the paranormal.

    I must say you find some really beautiful places to visit on your travels...such lush scenery and sometimes almost "olde worldly " places, as if time had stopped. You have infinite patience ,which proves a bonus in view of all the time you have to spend in dark unknown buildings to get perhaps one or two Evp's but as power builds up and you connect, you get some remarkable evidence of spirit, and sometimes amusing things.
    I don't think I would want to come back using the smell of TCP to identify myself ! But it did pertain to that poor lady and her illness .
    I tried looking up the ingredients for TCP, to see if any of the stronger ingredients may have been used in an earlier century but couldn't isolate anything except camphor ( used in moth balls) but camphor and TCP don't smell the same. So your lady must have been more recent bless her. Thankyou for another interesting programme and investigation as usual. Warm regards Helen C.

    Thanks Kris! Cultural history and the paranormal, do go hand in hand. Pleased you enjoyed. Sir Lionel was a man who today would be reviled by society. His fortune was based on slavery in the sugar trade, and clearly, by his actions in demolishing the original church showed that he had little feeling for other people or religious institutions. So being the sociopath that he clearly was, being buried with a woman would have been an anathema to him. But he did build a beautiful and rare church. :)

    may i make a correction: a person is 'hanged' not hung. a coat was hung. a man was hanged. just a suggestion.

    • @HauntedEarth
      @HauntedEarth  9 лет назад +4

      hell0hkitty This should clear this up, Kitty. :)
      "Our evidence shows that hung for hanged is certainly not an error. Educated speakers and writers use it commonly and have for many years. . . . " Hanged is, however, more common than hung in writing. It is especially prevalent when an official execution is being described, but it is used in referring to other types of hanging as well. . . .
      "The distinction between hanged and hung is not an especially useful one (although a few commentators claim otherwise). It is, however, a simple one and easy to remember. Therein lies its popularity. If you make a point of observing the distinction in your writing you will not thereby become a better writer, but you will spare yourself the annoyance of being corrected for having done something that is not wrong."
      (Merriam-Webster's Dictionary of English Usage, 1994)

      @garysherman4297 9 лет назад

      +Chris Halton - Haunted Earth tv Hanged is used when a person or persons (or animal) is executed by means of hanging. Although hung was used by authors in the past, this was generally at a time when grammer was much looser in its application and like spelling, was not applied as rigidly as it is today. It is my view that, although it sounds wrong, hanged is the word you should be using.
      Also and I understand the need to cultivate an image for the excellent programme you've made, might it not be respectful to remove your hat when in a church?
      Great series of videos though.

    Why would an old building like this be haunted by someone smelling like TCP Disinfectant or, a Hospital as disinfectant is relatively modern?
    Could the White gown be a Templar Knights tunic for example?
    I'm finding hard to understand the Hospital smell in connection to the building, surely spirits from different time's can't travel between places/astral planes can they?
    I always tbought they kept to a point in time where they were alive?

    I think you should return and stay the entire night at this location. With some more things like a K2 meter for example. I have a feeling these spirits were hiding from you and would be more comfortable if you would stick around a longer. This village seems to be a great place to do re-visit in the future.

      +Roxanne Pearls If you were able to find the time in reading the comments, you would discover that the incident occurred BEFORE any dragonfly larva had left the water to actually fly. Also the speed is much faster than any dragonfly. But we`ll go with `oh dear` and ` oh well`.

    The Dragonflies were in larval form at the time this superfast `Dragonfly` appeared, I`m not sure what it was, but for the fact it struck me at high speed, and then dissolved, makes me realise that this wasn`t `earthly` shall we say. :)

    Hahaha O dear, I don't think sir Lionel had to much love for his wife, was she a nag or was it him, reminds me of my own grandad who when I was younger I asked him if he was going to be buried with gran, he just said I've put up with her all my life and I don't want to have to do the same for eternity. I never knew if he was joking or not, but my best guess is not. Haha good ole grandad, one of the few who managed to escape the Germans at Arnhem. Interesting program and for some odd reason I love to watch these on a Sunday, I think the music does as much as anything else to take you back in time and imagine how it was.
