Is it necessary to change the adjustment, if i strip Cyky-O 3x 1,5 mm2 and 3x2,5 mm2? I Almost always a cut the insulation. Thank you.
Hello. It depends on the cable manufacturer, what kind of insulation they have on the cables. The cables I use have such insulation that I don't need to adjust the depth of the knife. In your case, of course, it is better if you change the depth of the knife according to the type of cable. Maybe set it a little less deep for the 2.5mm2 cable so that you can use the same knife setting for the 1.5mm2 and 2.5mm2 cable. Try it on a scrap piece of cable

What about stripping aluminium sheathed cable such as fp200?
