hi, for ideal truss the connection shall be pinned , but in steel trusses practically some times the connection are welded with gusset plates , so a welded connection will remain a ideal truss connection or it will have some rigidity and moment?, please explain
Thanks. Very imformative video. Im just confused sir, in solving problem can i take summation moment on the roller support? Im really confused. Thankyou in advance for the reply.
why do we use roller supports and hinge suports if we have fixed supports that even more better then the other two?with an additional feature that it resists moment too..
Appreciate video content! Sorry for butting in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you tried - Chiveard Having Date Framework (do a search on google)? It is an awesome one of a kind product for making any women beg to get your hands on them minus the normal expense. Ive heard some great things about it and my close friend Aubrey at very last got great success with it.
I have a question. If Horisontal is equal to zero on the roller how about if the roller is against the wall? Assuming there is force against the roller which is also against the Wall! Since there is no force vertically
This is the major students problem. Please reply I am waiting for your response. If force is applied in upward direction in roller support. What will be the reaction in roller support. Can roller support provid negative reaction/pulling force in downward direction? Thanks
@@civilengineering94 can you show some practical examples. It will me a lot. Or make a seperate video on this. Because most people have a doubt roller can't provide a downward pulling force.
Because of its property, How can it resist moment if there is no protection provided from all sides. There is moment in fixed support due to its protection property
After a lot of useless videos, I am ecstatic after watching this video. Superb explanation.
Thanks #Shivam
Yes
Your video is well explained, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Omgosh thank you 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. My lecturer could not explain something so simple. Thank you soo much for providing a simple lesson 😍😍😍😍
I'm a Mechanical engineering student I have gained so much useful information in this channel thank you sir.
Glad to hear that
Its nearly impossible to not to understand, thank you!
Thank you Engineer for the explanation its easy to understand. But the Hardest thing is its very hard to find another person human Voice like yours...
Currently studying for the FE exam and I needed better insight concerning supports. Your video was very informative!! Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much,I subscribed to your channel because you present your lectures in English even making it easier for everyone ..please continue
Because he has extreme unique voice in this entire planet
Thank You sir, u make this easy ❤❤
Most welcome 😊

Yes you can
I love ur teaching methods sir..keep it up
Thanks
superb ❤❤
Thanks 🤗
What are the rotations value equal zero for support?
Thank u sir useful 🙏
So nice of you

amaizing. thans sir for the explaination
Thank you so much sir, your vid is really helpful. Now I fully understand ❤️😇 Godbless.
Glad it helped

Is the hinge same us the pinnd suporte
Very very nice. You deserve more subscribers.
wat of the pin support? is it under the roller supprt
Changing the fixed support to fixed hinge support is equivalent to removing how many constraints

what is moment on hinge n fix support sir? is it like deformation? need help
Many thanks!
Welcome
ye jo moment hai wo kis direction me hai x y or z
Great info
Glad it was helpful!
hello sir. Generally in steel structure design, why we use pinned support or fixed but support in most common instead of fixed support.
This is the major students problem. Please reply I am waiting for your response.
If force is applied in upward direction in roller support. What will be the reaction in roller support.
Can roller support provid negative reaction/pulling force in downward direction?
Thanks
Yes, roller can also have downward reaction depending on the loading condition on beam.
@@civilengineering94 can you show some practical examples. It will me a lot.

Please explain when supports at different positions
Full of education videos great work
THanks #Saqlain
Thanks to you sir this video make me pass my exam
Prsise King Jesus Christ. Great video rhank u sir
You are very welcome
This video is perfect example of Dont judge a book by its cover.
Right
Please answer this question :show hinge, roller and fixed support with maximum number of reaction
good wrk sir
Thanks #Zohaib
Amaizing...thanks .
Plz make vedio of uses of supports in beams in feilds
thank you sir

Please why is moment in a roller support zero at the end support

@@civilengineering94 so why is that moment in the middle too isn't zero?
Appreciated
thankoo sir
background's kid wants to add his opinion. I couldn't able to understand that.
Simply supported and roller support is same??
No, simply supported can also be hinge
Explanation super
Thanks #Santhosh
Super explanation
Thanks Rakesh
What is moment?
When there is an eccentricity of beam that sits on top of the column, moment can be produced by that beam to the column
It will cause the rotational movement
@@eminashindahouse thanks
It is the calculation of the required force to rotate....
Thank you very much Sir for your informative theories .. Truly easy to understand and the best part it is simplified very well. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
So nice of you
In structure where we use roller support hinged support and fixed support
Hinged support is provide at bridges, roller support used in lifts and fixed support for structure where we don't want to move
#civilenggguide
What is actually meant by hinge support
hing sport alsocaled pin sport
Good explanation, too much background baby noise ....that will ruin your channel
Noted
Poor sound
