Avoiding burnout for me usually consists of switching to indoor decorating when I’ve exhausted my outdoor, finding simpler design ideas, replacing all my custom designs, or scrapping my current theme and trying something new (which includes finding codes and new design ideas outside of the game first).
I personally think the song you’ve been using as background for your tours is soooo soothing, relaxing … to me it’s part of the whole atmosphere of getting inspired by your tours! 😌 Please, keep using it! It totally made sense to use the in game sounds for this amazing island though. 👏🏻
sometimes it's overwhelming seeing these super elaborate islands. Like I get burnout cus my island won't look that cool u_u I liked the random dream address tours because it was refreshing to see islands that werent decorated so intricately. Maybe some more "simple" islands?? idk if that makes sense
My very first island was simple. My house was decorated around items I found just playing the game. I even got 5 star on it. I can't remember my dream address but I called the island Gaia if you wish to look at it 🙂

The important thing is YOU liking your island. Don't worry about comparing it to these amazingly intricate islands. As long as you're happy, that's the main thing. 💖
I'd LOVE to see a Let's Play series with the second island! I also stand by what Caito said: it's okay if you don't finish your island. If it's not bringing you joy, try something else that inspires you.
I honestly didn't know the gear items were that big!! This gives me so many ideas, I also love how sound now has an even bigger part in this game, it really adds depth to island worlds!

I actually just deleted my island I had for a year and a half 😁 I got a second Switch and haven’t played on it in months… and never finished it… and deleted in on a whim. 24 hours later I’m feeling a tinge of regret… but it’s fun to start over and now I’m playing it more at least. But I love watching let’s plays.
4:22 Drumoids and Gongoids are my favorite for how they sync so well with the percussion and bass of the K.K. Songs and how they can be colored Red to match your Musical instruments in a "music hall" themed room.
I LOVED the in game music and sounds! It was so different than the way everyone else does their ACNH videos. The music and sounds are so calming. I really liked it !
i think when you visit islands like this or have a theme you'd like to see you could issue small design challenges! for example: "this island is gyroid inspired so id like you all to create a vacation home or home island spot using gyroids!" or the challenge can be a certain theme using a clashing/weird item or even a certain design code. trying to incorporate themes from that episode's tour. and then players can submit photos over twitter or insta or whatever so you can pick your favorites to display in the following video
Wow… i don’t like trashcore, or Steam Punk either, but this island was… An Experience !! My own island is nowhere near as cluttered and lags a lot, so I’m really intrigued as to how this creator could make this work. About burn out, I wouldn’t say I’m burnt out, it’s more like a bit of boredom. I used to play everyday, and now I’ll go through spells where I won’t touch my switch for weeks. But then I’ll still watch videos like yours or Caito, because they inspire me and keep me in the loop. Watching this I wanted to go on the DLC because I realised that there are a lot of items that I’ve never seen before !
I love your original background music, but if a creator specifies that their island uses in-game sounds, I like the AC music. Thank you for the great videos! :D

Great island and great idea to start from beginning or new island. I think it would be fun with all the new stuff to see what it looks like to start from scratch. Great video as always & great job. I wish we could download DAs onto our island and edit them. Maybe not republish them but have the layout all done and play around with it. Some times islands need to be viewed over and over -- like this one !
I can't decide which direction to go I'm since the 2.0 update, so I'm taking a short break. I don't want to start something, put a ton of hours in to them decide I'm not feeling it lol. I'm also desperate to get my hands on the retro transportation stop before I start building too.
The island : *cluttered* Isabelle : imma pretend I didn’t see that. This island is actually really cool. Very inspiring for when I do an all aesthetics island for when I finish one island completely, I move on to a different aesthetic.

I know it's THE way of decorating in the english speaking community, but i wish we would see some of the "less is more" kinda islands like you see with some japanese and korean creators (like haruchi, lucy or yuzu).
Really like the in game sound! The music normally used has a weird sound balance which makes it so that often all you can hear well is one repetitive beat that becomes VERY grating after a few minutes. Which is a shame because i want to hear your commentary but end up muting the video to avoid the music.
This is a great tour. Such a cool island. Love the gyroids. Please remember that we Boomers developed a good deal of the technology we us today and can be current with fashion. Perhaps your boss is just out of touch and just happens to be a Boomer?

How do you all plant the glowing grass grown? Every time I plant one it stays like very small ( not grown)
I believe you have to pick it up and “replant” it and it changes size each time randomly, not like the weeds that grow over time!
