Here’s a question for YOU: How many times does Zelda the cat appear in this video?

I saw her at 2:02 and 8:08. The snowman is my favorite since it's such a great design that is easy to print and the assembly with elastic bands is such a clever idea. People are always surprised when I show them that you can move the head and torso and kids love them.

I hope PHA (or something like it) eventually gets popular enough to compete in terms of price and options. Most long term 3D printing people share the concern, but we don’t have any great answers.
This was a nice video, you could totally get away with more of them if you didn't always answer questions so promptly! Very cool to see your studio, but if my wife asks, you have 12+ printers, haha. I feel I'll get an earful if she starts counting printers.

I'm new to 3D printing - like, since Friday! Lurking around I see the rite of passage is to print a Benchy boat, but not for me. My first print was your Articulated Snowman Fidget ;-) Made two of them so far and they came out great. The very next project was your red/white Twist Lock Present box, which I chose as the enclosure for a special gift for my lovely wife. Bought tons of matte filaments just to run your projects as they look great in that style.
I'm still in awe at the level of genius and beauty in your designs, and impressed with your generosity to share them with the world. Thank you!
PS: I think it would be awesome to have the barrel just be a box, too. It's such a beautiful design (and colors are perfect!) that could also be practical as a showpiece. Maybe a container for gifts, or an office/teacher pencil holder, put a handle on it and make it a cool display mug. Can you tell I like it? 🙂

I don't know if it's what you're looking for, but the barrel is available as a simple twist open container: www.printables.com/model/350326 If you glue in the bottom and leave the top off, it could work as a pen holder.
Good luck with your next prints! I've had mixed luck with matte filaments myself. I also like how they look, but both matte and silk filaments have a reputation for being a little more brittle than more standard PLA formulas. But if it works well for you, that's great!
