I was definitely expecting to lose a teammate there! I'm glad you were able to make it to the elite four. Looking forward to how you wrap this series up
Funny just caught up with all parts and the moment I did a new video came out. I hope you keep this up even if people like me don't watch them immediately most of the time.
Nope, not a bad question at all! So in order to get trade evolutions on emulators, you have to create a copy of your ROM through the Pokemon Universal Randomizer. The randomizer software has a checkbox option called "impossible evolutions" (or something like that). This allows trade evolutions to evolve! The way that each trade evolution evolves is different, but for Gengar, Machamp, Alakazam and Golem for example, they will each evolve at level 37. Pokemon like Steelix will evolve if you give Onix the metal coat and level it up once, etc.
@@grumpygengar22 so basically i have to get a romhack of a rom. thats honestly the best thing that can be done other than some emulators that can trade. and besides there can be also them randomizer nuzlockes too so thats a plus thanks for the knowledge but what emulator do you use and how does this Universal Randomizer work exactly?
I use desmume on my computer and melonDS on my phone. For the Universal Randomizer I would look up a quick video on RUclips for how to quickly set up. But it's basically a program you download. When you open up the program you load in a ROM, you select what options you want (in this case all you would need to do is check off that box I mentioned, which is on the first screen of the randomizer program) and then you click Randomize(Save) in the program. The new ROM will be created and then you load that new ROM up in your emulator of choice.

Yep, I fall for it every single time haha
@@grumpygengar22 best of luck for elite 4 🤞. Is it done already? Will you go for round 2 after the post game?
question: how did you evolve Gengar if you are using an emulator?
sorry if this is probably a bad question
