SARE Grant Series Part 5: Using Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi to Measure Soil & Plant Health

This year marks the beginning of year 3 of our SARE Grant study. In our third and final year we are working to measure the uptake of Ergothioneine in black bean plants with the help of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal fungi, so see if the Wine Cap mushroom has aided in plant and soil health.

So there has to be a symbiotic relationship, that's why I focus on a symbiotic inculcation of substrate without sterilization. It has worked over 20 times without any trichoderma contamination.
