Yet another brilliant fun time with you two doing some good old Bond Banter, excellent Outfits you two, Tom as usual does a brilliant plot briefing and a wonderful guitar version of All Time High. And thanks for the shootout at the end Tom.
When you're out of Bond movies and Bond topics, I will be happy with you two doing a show on anything because your banter is what makes the show fun. It could be chatting about the week's weather for all I care. And yes, your show belongs on the telly, at tea time on Saturday nights like the classic Doctor Who slot.
@@LuxuryTedium Unfortunately not. If I were, I can guarantee things would be different (and I would probably lose my job quickly as no doubt ratings would plummet)
Another amazing episode, loved the reference to my childhood 'Playaway', but not sure how many viewers were alive then (I'm showing my age😂). Tom, I'm still having nightmares as I am petrified of clowns, including the bizarre Murano glass one that Mrs Wallis had on our windowsill in the 80s (bet she wishes she kept it as they are about £175 on Etsy 😂). She sends her best to you both and loving the shout outs. My dad would have loved this show and would have had his own scores for the Bondboard. I still think that you looked like Pennywise 😢. I thought that James was dressed as a turtle at first then remembered the submarine.😂 I was a passenger in a tuk tuk in India and Sri Lanka in 2014 and it was bloody hairy but brilliant at the same time, very much recommend. Anyhoo, my questions are: 1. If James Bond was to go fully electric, which current vehicle on the market would he drive? 2. To you both, which James Bond (out of the 7 that played him, including David Niven) or character from the films do you most resonate with, and why? You should know mine 🥰 Thanks a million as always xx
Another great episode, but I knew it would be with that perfect thumbnail! James - I hope in time, you feel more proud of your costume, after all, you were a gadget! Gobinda is a dangerous type of villain, menacing & scary but so handsome. The scene with Bond, the tiger, and the snake, awful, but the tabla in that part of the score was lovely to hear. Wonderful to see gorgeous women in saris. Will the category name of 'villains' be changed to 'bastards'? My 2nd least favourite Bond theme song, but Tom's version was nicer. India has street animals today, like cows, goats, and donkeys. Most are owned by farmers and families. Were elephants working animals back then? Probably. My absolute favourite thing about this film is something Tom added to the episode, although I remember it as Karl Marx's dad. 🤣 Tom's Ninja music piece was brilliant. (Influenced by Georgio Moroder's Chase?) Loved The King of Comedy reference. And my favourite bit that I replayed several times is at 33s, an homage to the Muppets. ♡ When is the next episode? ONP xx
Thanks for the review, great entertainment, and it really is entertaining. Is your Questions and Answers going to be a “live stream” session, maybe at the end of the 25 film review you could do a live steam summary session. Never a fan of this film, the whole dressing up as a clown thing was a step too far for me. Plot was mad! The no problem line from the Taxi Driver was a call back to the now dead Vijay who used the “no problem” line as standard response, hence the music cue and look between Roger and Robert Brown. The Tarzan thing was awful, the “Sit” gag to the Tiger was a reference to Barbara Woodhouse ( you can see her on Utube) who had a UK TV series called Training Dogs in the 80’s, so dates it and looks stupid out of context, plus a wide wide audience would have no idea, what the joke was about. Thanks again, you guys are a Utube must watch.
Cheers Robert. There’s a few things I need to discuss with James for next episode’s feedback corner here. No plans on live streaming yet but we’ll keep that in mind. I see the Woodhouse reference now but didn’t twig when watching the film.
For Q&A: For both - Best episode of Bottom and why? For Tom - Best line of Flash Gordon? (Feel free to act it out) For James - Best Bond actor and favourite if different?
You guys always bring the fun. Cracking costumes too
This was great fun lads! Love the channel keep up the great work 👍👍
Cheers Jim. Thanks for watching.
You pair made me laugh out loud at the costumes, loved the teaser at the beginning..
Glad to hear it. Cheers for watching.

You have exquisite taste, Triforce. You don’t happen to be commissioning editor for the BBC or any other major television channel, do you?

Sorry for being a scary bastard. I think we may take a break from the costumes for a bit. We wouldn’t want people to stop taking us seriously.

Cheers ONP. Any resemblances to muppets were entirely coincidental and unfortunate.
Another fun episode fella’s and lets face it we can all do with a bit of a laugh. Keep it up 👍
