I saw them perform this live and had a true out of body experience. After the song ended I came back to my senses and had tears in my eyes. So I feel you.
I am advocating for healing, protection, defense, etc.(defined by my main camp) in regards to Alcest, the way my main camp indicated. My Main Camp is my Main Spirit Guides.
I like Alcest but I wish they put more emphasis on the vocals so that I could understand what they sing... I am a french speaker and can barely comprehend anything they sing about in most songs that are a bit loud.
I'm not interfering to protect him or defend his opinion, I was just stating my own opinion. I understand where you're coming from though, I do see these comments all over RUclips these days and it's rather annoying.
I suppose, however to call it "spirituality" is to infer some non-observable metaphysics of a soul/spirit, and given that's you can't ever observe those, I don't know why looking into the cosmos would be spiritual in that sense. I think a lot of people use spiritual to mean some sort of philosophical feeling (as opposed to thinking) of wholeness, that makes them feel purpose or something along those lines?
I do like this song but it still seems incredibly strange to me, possibly due to the contrast of the drum beat speed and slow choir like vocals (and guys take your immigration debates to someplace appropriate)
I really hate that religion and spirituality have become synonymous. One can participate in spirituality by simply observing the universe, of which we are a part, without the aid of any religion, which is what Neige is doing.
@dream431ca and all of those bands are weird underground hipster metal. as one could have expected someone like you to listen to... hmm. nice essay there.
@OlieGuitarFREAK What?? Motorhead?? I listen to Dream Evil, Moonsorrow, Hammerfall, Blind Guardian, Gamma Ray, Nightwish, just to name a few. I obviously have more of back than you simply because I don't get butthurt over other people's opinions and feel the need to post a useless comment assuming I know the person. If you listen to mainly metal, your giving the genre a bad name with your pointless comments and childish attitude. Grow up.
Ah yes, some of the elves of Rivendell have formed a black metal band
Debussy meets Darkthrone
This is a truly divine piece of art. Touches me everytime.
The vocal harmonies in the beginning sounds so spiritual 🙃
This is what you hear when you reach the gates of heaven ... with the angelic choir ...
Godly
This song reminds me of the woman i love.
When i first met her, this was playing on her ipod.
Let me guess, she used to skip Faiseurs De Mondes when that blasted in next.
But , how about now?
For real? That’s to much

Is it ok that I nearly cried when I first listened to this?
I saw them perform this live and had a true out of body experience. After the song ended I came back to my senses and had tears in my eyes. So I feel you.

Gorgeous. Reminds me so much of Ride's debut album...
epic fucking album best of Alcest right here, both depressive and uplifting, spiritually uplifting
Not depressive, but rather reflective and introspective you might say.

@stormcorrosion I think it is just the choice of tones that gives me a feeling of melancholia, maybe 'depressive' was a wrong word to describe it :)
Merci r/metal

Black Metal is both darkest and spiritually elevating music on earth
time is perception.

There are no lyrics just light language

Leider der einzige Song der etwas schwächelt. Ansonsten aber eines der schönsten Alben die ich je gehört habe.
Lothlòrien Metal
I still have no idea why the hell people talking about religion & politics on Alcest video...
mmm:/ ive been all around europe and middle east, ive seen first hand of other cultures ect.
Depressive Shoegaze! Fuck yeah!
yessss...you are abviously not from europe are you?
I don't know about that but the truth is people will have stupid discussions all over the internet and especially on youtube.
I disagree. Some great of the greatest songs ever are religion themed.
Felt like being kicked by neutrino
Is this album called The Lame Voyages
"Les Voyages de l'Âme" ("The Journeys of the Soul")
Biophotons in your brain.

I went to Frankfurt, Milan, London, Birmingham and Newcastle about years ago. And I only see Jews and Christians, not muslims.
