When i first learn the proper fg knot, i had a hard time on boat, taking too much time and i had to find alternative. And this fg knot version is always go to these days. No matter ultralight, light and even heavy game, i tend to use this version and felt more comfortable tying this version. I do learn the Briggsy way but this version is much more easy.
