Scrimped and saved, and just ordered my Strega tonight! Thank you, Alessandro! What an amazing little machine...I can’t wait to get my hands on it! It’s gonna pair nicely with my 0 Coast, and I have a feeling it’s going to be featured in a lot of my upcoming music/soundscapes!
I know it may not be everybody's cup of tea, but part of the fun for me, was figuring out what the symbols represent, how they effect the sound, without knowing exactly what they mean. And not always knowing exactly what to expect, keeps it interesting, to experiment with. Patching without cables, is a nice live performance touch too. I'm finding it fun, to run my FM drum machines through it. I'm enjoying mine quite a bit.
5:19 the backround music that play when the detective has a lead on a missing person hidden in a shipping container of the dock. A swat team meticulously sweeps the surounding area leading up to the shipping container. The lead field SWAT captain giving sign language for the move in on the storage container checking for an IED on the lock, crack the lock open the container and it almost empty except theres a small wooden handmade box. The box is examined, opened and all that in it is a sample of the missing girls hair. The lead detectives is also told this over the radio of evidence found but no body. In disappointment the detective throws the radio at the wall. The detective is played by mark Wahlberg in the Movie, The Wisper Man. Background music by Make noise Strega IN THE THEATERS AUG 2022.
man... that opening sequence on its own... sounds amazing however i have my doubts. i think if i used the thing it would just sound like chaotic garbage. i think its mr cortinis extreme knowledge of the field and his beautiful language of music. so characteristic, deep and beautiful.
Just shut up and take my money. I've seen cortini live four times, and every time I wanted a magic wand to capture his sound. This may be my best shot!!!

Make Nosie is right. And lots of it. No thanks. I can do the vast majority of what Strega does with other modules and effects that I already own, so there isn't much motivation for me to throw down $600 for this thing.
The nature example blew my mind. Imagine doing that with some headphones while tripping :)
😮😮😮 I have no words for this. Still processing the possibilities. 🙏 Alessandro and the Make Noise team.
The way he turned a simple arpeggio into a Boards of Canada instrumental had me like 🤯
he is a genius music wizard!
Actually all the examples in this video could be interludes on Tomorrow's Harvest 😅

the first synth part and the last layered guitar parts are jaw dropping.

Start a Podcast Alessandro! i could listen to you talk about music all day lol
Definitely! And a Patreon.
Start shipping this thing already. Chop chop! 😂😘
He better use that last part with the 3 layered guitar manipulations as the basis for a new NIN song...it’s perfect
AC’s solo stuff is miles beyond anything NIN has done in years.
@@malcolmbliss777 so true
best demo thus far!

That first guitar part sounded like the intro to "Simply the Best"!
Decided I would be happy with just the no coast but now I find out Alessandro was involved in this I clearly need both 🤦🏻
Oooh, that UV77MC! NICE!

best demo on youtube
so the filter can only be used as part of the delay circuit?
I can't even begin to comprehend what this thing is doing.
make me a slot, we are two
It distorts the fabric of space and time.
There's a vid by Hainbach on it.
Sounds like noise to me and nothing else. Definitely not for me.
Ya pre ordené el mio 🤘
Che figata la strega dell'appennino:) Questi trombini della make noise sono veramente degli animaletti fantastici. i wanna catch em all :)
Can anyone determine the where all the cables are going in the transcending ambient patch? 1.45? I can quite make out the all routes.
Sold!
Good stuff
🤯 sounds awesome
The Make Noise Strega Nona.
Pasta pot pasta pot...
How do you record from the strega synthesizer if the guitar is plugged in? I can only see the headphone output involved?
lovely examples... cheers! -ant

I want one
I want one.
3:10 Tina Turner into After burner
All three parts together = MBV interlude
I want to soooo much, but my experience and money runs off.
Does anyone know what that little step sequencer was at the beginning?
Teenage Engineering OP-Z
oooo whats the little 'arpeggio' unit using as input at the start? anyone? (0.43) :)
It's an OP-Z by Teenage Engineering
3:28 This sound remains me a my countryside band called Aya RL with his song called "Ulica" ("The Street").
@5:18 had to pause because I thought someone was a sawing a tree out my window.
Can i finally use my neighbors lawnmower in my creative process ? Im sold.
Great stuff!
What brand is that headless guitar?
Looks like it could be a Strandberg.
Aristides
WOW
so it's an effects unit as much as a synth?
basically yeah.
So the upper right hand white knob is like a wave shaper?
I believe it blends the external input audio with the filter/delay
wait a second, is this the Jomox T Resonator III?

5:07 I didn't hit him....I did NOT!.
Oh, hi NIN!
Hi reverb, can I have things? 😁
How 'bout they make more powered skiffs before I die of old age...
Hahaha a year later and this is STILL true
I wish it was stereo... MKII?
Comedy gold. 😁
What’s with all the cryptic symbols? Even a Buchla is easier to read, or does this come with it’s own proprietary symbol language.
make noise stuff makes a lot of sense and feels really natural once you spend about 20 min with one.
I think part of the point is you're not really supposed to fully understand exactly what's going on.
The runes are for weaving dark magic
You'l get used to it in 15 minutes, mate...no worries 🎼
