Ok Baseball NIL. Bobby is right and wrong. Pierce allocated more NIL for player retention and like Bobby said they wanted to help guys get 100% across the team to cover the scholarship gap.
Where he’s wrong too is aTm paid Braden Montgomery more than Texas’s entire infield.
Pierce made some really poor choices on the TP and while NIL dollars were gobbled up with player retention, he also didn’t attack the TP like other schools.
And make no mistake, schools like Ark, Tenn, LSU, and aTm blow our baseball NIL out of the water on total amount. Like we aren’t even close to them which is concerning.

Tough call on a Coach who does not have enough money to be competitive.

Gerry, good description of how recruits are evaluated. Good example of how much team matters is TCU making it to playoff. but also need balance with athletes with their being out classed by Georgia in championship game.

What in hell is geographically harmonious about Oxford Miss or Auburn Al. or College Station TX

Driving distance. Unless you want to drive from Eugene, Ore. to Piscataway, NJ like you would in the Big 10.

@@BurntOrangeHorn78 Haven't driven to a game in 50 years. Dallas many times. College Station exactly twice (no more) Waco once, missed the '69 Fayetteville trip. If I go, I fly. The Oxford International Milo Field doesn't attract.

Yeah, me either. At the age where long road trips to sit in crowded stadiums then the return drive just do not appeal. Also, I abhor flying these days.

Wondering if Sark can just tell recruits that he will make their NIL an average of top 3 or 5 of all players at the position if they commit? Are NIL payouts made public?
