I've been working with these folks, and I can honestly say that I couldn't have done it without them. I tried. I couldn't find a plan that was anywhere near reasonably affordable with decent coverage until they got involved. They know stuff. Let them help you! Shout out to Jesse -- he's awesome.
I need health insurance and I have no idea how to shop for it, or wtf I’m doing. I’m probably gonna end up screwing myself getting locked into the wrong plan.
Oh no! Please don't do that! If you have questions, give us a call at 888-410-0344. There is no charge. There is still time to enroll. No need to rush into a decision that you may regret.
If I was forced to retire early at age 60 and live off savings and investments then dividend from stocks and funds do NOT count as income? But my spouse work income does. Thanks. This is highly valuable content. How can they do it without charge. It’s such a great channel. And the website is also terrific.
Yes! Any household income impacts your MAGI. If the money is currently in your account (checking, savings, etc...), it wouldn't count towards your MAGI. However, if you are still receiving dividends from your investments, that would likely impact your income. Also, if your spouse is continuing to work, are you able to join their plan? Not all jobs offer coverage to spouses! Thank you for your question and your feedback!
Would you know how to guide a young person in Maryland who needs several preventive screening scans (MRI’s)yearly due to a genetic pre-disposition who is a 5 year cancer survivor and about to age of their parents plan? They just finished professional school and began a new job that doesn’t offer health insurance.
Yes. For this individual since group health insurance through their employer is not available a marketplace plan would be best. Please call our office with a list of doctors, hospitals, medications, etc... We may also want to look into additional forms of insurance possibly to supplement their specific needs (i.e. hospital indemnity plan, critical illness, etc...). Even though this is a young person, given their medical history, erring on the side of the caution would likely be best. Please feel free to call to discuss at 888-410-0344. There is no charge for our services and we are happy to help answer any questions you may have!
There is no fee for our services. (Although some brokers do charge!) Basically, regardless of how you enroll there is a commission already baked into the monthly premium you pay. When you enroll with a broker or agent, they are paid from that commission. But regardless of how you choose to enroll, your premium will remain the same. Thanks for your question!
It depends on your needs. Do you have specific doctors you need to see? What plans do they take? Any medications? Are you eligible for a premium tax credit? Feel free to give us a call so we can help provide you with the best possible plans for your needs: 888-410-0344. Thanks for your question!
