Loved the video, thanks for posting. I would LOVE to find the article you showed, Crashing a Zeppelin for Fun by Dick Cole. Could you clue me in?

Interesting, explains a lot about the man we were never told on main media. I think I'll download the movie and have a look.

Anyone even vaguely interested in the early Hollywood era *needs* to see the 1980's Thames Television series 'Hollywood'
They're all on RUclips somewhere !

"Is the film worth your time?"
Absolutely! This has no CGI. Some models, but the vast majority of aerial shots is real. The cost in lives during filming is proof of this. These are real airplanes, with real pilots performing very risky and accurately portrayed manuevers. This is what the furball looked like during WW1, and many of these manuevers still form the basis of most dogfighting techniques today.

Personally, I prefer Wellman's Wings to Hell's Angels. It has better aerial scenes, more of them, and a much better story. And that film (Wings) has more action in the air than Hell's Angels does, so much so that I was surprised. Hell's Angels is pretty good but I think that Wings did it better, earlier.

The only movie that comes close to 'Hell's Angels' is 'The Blue Max'. Isn't it a paradox that Hughes's father provided the funds for his son's many projects, and Trump's father did the same for Trump?

      Why a paradox?

It's like this. Daddy loves their son. He finances his son's projects to show him how much he loves him. So, this is how Hughes and Trump became so successful. It's so nice to spend your father's money before daddy dies.@@flickingbollocks5542

      Paradox😂 WTF 😳
Rich parents spoil their kids into brats, nothing new😅
      Where u been?
Closet, barn, under the bridge, head in the sand…look around, rich run the world…duh..always have, always will as long as money runs/ buys anything.
From sex to death, everything is run on money 💰
Go live on the streets if u can’t afford it, many do😢many die a terrible death, compared to rich trying everything in science/ religion to live forever, always have.
Even worse now with followers of psychopaths IMO
These looney tunes once were hated, now these morons can’t help but give away their money to creeps who want ur money to propel their dum dum IMO opinions, yet, “there’s a sucker born every second” 😅

It is absolutely normal that this film with his week melodramatic story didn't make it ... just a year after the release of the pionneering masterpiece «Wings» by William A. Wellman from wich it has copied all the schematics and innovations of the dogfighting sequences... It's not a match!
