- William Penn and Levittown #2 Volunteer Fire Companies quickly handle a motor trike fire on Quincy Drive near Quest Road and the Miller footbridge sunday afternoon.
Levittown
Middletown Township, PA.
Thing was a total loss even as fire got on scene. Don't know if the lady in the background thought it could be saved and said "I hope they hurry." Maybe it would have helped if someone turned the motorcycle off. In the beginning, it was still running. Might have saved time, effort, and money.
First guy on the scene could've put the fire out with a fire extinguisher
I can't believe that none of the houses across the street had a fire extinguisher. It was small enough at the beginning that an extinguisher could have put it out no problem.
Like I said, by the time we found our extinguisher, we were told to stay away.
that was a stupid thing to say if someone has a frickin extinguisher
That first fire chief was definitely not in a good mood.
As a volunteer I'm putting an extinguisher in my POV.
Not that it was a big fire, but what an extremely quick knockdown that was. I timed it, and they arrived on scene, pulled a line, charged that line and had water on the fire in less than a minute. Excellent work by those boys. Great catch too Ron.
Most people have a fire extinguisher in the Car Holding Area and or in a Breeze-way. To much Panic and not enough action plain and simple.
No one on that street owns a hose or extinguisher?
overkill = 2 engines and 3 chiefs lol
ok now i gotta put my 2 cents in none of those neighbors has a water hose i mean dam that drama could of saved and 2 fire trucks for that im scratching my head DRAMA
in the beginning a couple of guys pissing on the fire could have put it out. Come one people no buckets no garden hoses of fire extinguishers around!
Two officer vehicles raced to the scene, lights on. Neither one had a driver or anyone that could actually put some extinguisher on that fire? If not, they did not need that many vehicles responding code to this.
Lol the fire was put out real quick
2 fire chief units without extinguishers??? Unbelievable
I'm sure the chief cars do have extinguishers but there were already two engine companies on the road responding with 1,500 combined gallons of water...
The woman in the background needs to chill the fuck out. It's not going to blow up.
There's always one fat women telling everyone to get back.😰💀🗣
come on! a couple of buckets of water or atleast a bloody garden hose would've helped!!
Jed Nagel. it would have been too dangerous. The gas tank could of exploded at any moment.
petrol tanks don't explode
Idiots, lol
They totally dont explode
WILD Cobra No it wouldn't have. At most, it would have vented out the cap, that's it.
Surely two fire engines n two SUVs cudnt have been needed for a small bike fire
Joe Ritchie 2 suvs are the chiefs witch need to be there, 1 engine was needed for the attack and another to assist
Ok
nobody has a fire extinguisher?
Great cash.
Catch
We had a fire extinguisher but the fire marshall wouldn't let us near the bike.
no no.. that's what insurance is for. We're sheeple these days--stand there and scratch your head while someone shoots video.
Sheeple?
+Ron Roberts
The term "Sheeple" refers to people being like innocent sheep (A linguistic portmanteau of "Sheep" and "People" ... "Sheeple") ... getting herded/forced around, or hunted down and what not.
Face Reveal
Great video!!! Eng 77 is a badass unit
Good Lord! 3 officers & 2 engines for a little motorcycle fire? Can you say overkill?
This section is Station 77's first due but Station 13 is closer so their engine is due on all calls. Keep in mind these are volunteer companies so there is always a chance that there may not be anybody available to respond or enough manpower. Engine 7 was also responding on the call but they were recalled when Chief 7 determined he had more than enough on scene.
Dispatcher probably only told them it was a vehicle fire, which could mean anything.
Good God, that lady is annoying.
ikr
great footage. and cheif 77 doesnt care where he Parks. lll.
Thanks man. The new Tahoe is Chief 7 and the Expedition now is Deputy 77's after they got rid of the Crown Vic Police Interceptor. There is also an older Expedition assigned to Deputy 7 for the main station. There is no Chief 77. Chief 7 is the chief for both stations.
I meant to say cheif 7.
yhd
very fast response, 2 engines, 2 SUV and 0 fire extinguisher?
gotta love these dipshit comments about neighbors having a garden hose.... everyone wants to be a hero until it's time to be one
All of this could have been prevented if they Turn of the motor first, put a little water on it, call the police to secure the incident, then leave it be.
Really good video but with that lady I was like "Yo mouth is way to loud you need to shut it"
I can't imagine how that trike owner felt.... My trike is everything to me. Wouldn't want that to happen to mine...
Glad to see command was wearing PPE (not)
i couldve put that out with a fuckin garden hose ಠ_ಠ
R u kidding me I cudda pissed on that. They bring 2engines a chief with their air packs give me a fuckin break......
Marloo Stanfield The second truck was back up
SCBAs or air packs are a must on every fire scene. It's an NFPA standard
It was probably dispatched as a "vehicle fire" which could really mean anything.
☺
Nice catch :-)
wow
nice video and nice fire chief units
nice catch Ron, that bike was really burning
Whoever the two guys that showed up first are, they're worthless. You're gonna run lights and sirens and then just take pictures???? Just stay at the firehouse. Good job by the first engine, but you really don't need to spray water off to the side, that's one of those things that firefighters do that really doesn't make sense, it's just a tradition. Kind of like sending a second engine on a bike fire.
ffjsb there called chiefs smartass
ron your a firefighter right
I am not a fireman
+Ron Roberts Do you volunteer in these situations or in something like this?
This is awesome
seems like a lot of units for a motor trike but love the chief tahoe.
Zachary Graves comes in as a vehicle fire, could be a bike, could be a church bus full of children and nuns-and child nuns.
This is true. jfsa380
Nice job on the video
Awesome video!
Free car wash
That was not a big Fire..A smal extinguisher was been enough
In the beginning, yes. After two minutes of burning, no.
was that engine 77 we had a fire on my street 2 engines had to come. how did it start still nice video
Engine 77 was the second pumper. I am not sure how this fire started the fire marshal is investigating.
oh OK I'm trying to make fire truck videos. I missed one today
I've been trying but I have to go to work. Good thing I have off on the weekends now.
oh OK
Beautiful Footage
Thanks man
How do you get to the fire scene faster than the FD? How do you even know about it, do you just listen to the scanner all day, with your car keys in your pocket, ready to go at any second? And how are there this many fires in your area, you make a video like every day! I'm not meaning this as an insult, this is genuine curiosity!
I was already in the area of this.
Right but you have a lot of videos, so how do you get to those sometimes before FD arrived?
14jessek it's not hard to get to scenes before the volunteer companies.
Oh you've got volunteer companies. Are you like always on standby and listening to the scanners?
are you an actual fire fighter
No
I don't understand as to why people call the fire department for something as small as that. Bruh. And apparently nobody's house 30 feet away had a damn garden hose. Wow.
A garden hose probably wouldn't have reached across the street like that. Mine doesn't even reach the end of my driveway lol
But I mean still, nobody had any fire extinguishers or anything I mean, come on.
The wired Russian , or even a 5 gallon bucket to put water in ? One could have done it at the beginning.
+Tomas Fletcher exactly
What a waste of resources.
Drama queens
It was probably only dispatched as a "vehicle fire" which could mean anything. It depends on the dispatchers and the 911 caller how much information is given. And hearing that lady in the background, if she called she probably way over exaggerated it.
Very awesome catches & footage!
Very nice footage!
Gee, thanks for posting our personal tragedy on social media......very compassionate....NOT!
Robin Hines are you the trike owner?
*former owner lol
Ron are you still doing South mountain
No I don't know anything about South Mountain
