What are your thoughts on the Olight Olantern Stretch vs the Olantern Classic Pro? Olight Sale Link: www.olightstore.com/s/SESSR0 Use Coupon code: GREY10 for 10% OFF
Thanks Grey. Both are really nice. I think the stretch would be more versatile for my needs. Whether it's for emergency lights or camping it covers all my needs. The pro with its warm glow would be something I would use for mood lighting while tent camping. I'm fairly sure that bugs won't be drawn to the warm tones, sort of like a bug light. Much Love ❤
I would get one of each. Both have specific purposes. One for the camp table, the other for the tent. The small one would even be great for the privy. I have oil lanterns for the house and barns and hurricane lamps for winter. These would be nice for indoors but if you do not have solar then what good will they be without electricity?
@joyceterra2265 These are valid points, Joyce! I guess I'm glad I have solar options. Mildred made a great point as for safety. These would be great for indoors, as you mentioned as well. Thanks as always for sharing your thoughts. 😊🙏
@@GreyManPrepping I agree. Mildred has a valid point. I would never sleep with one lit oil or battery. If I need light at night, I have a flashlight by my bed.
They are both nice, the Stretch seems more versatile. I agree that they should offer a color choice, although black wouldn't be a deal breaker. Thanks for the thorough review, Grey!🎉
Hi Grey that light is really cool. Just a suggestion if you could pass it on to the company is there a way to put a small solar panel on the top to charge it by solar as well. I really like how it extends too. God Bless 🙏❤️🙏
this is a tough one as they both look great! If I had to only choose one I'd most likely go with the newer version as it has more capabilities but I wouldn't mind both lol 🤣
The Olight Classic Pro all the way. The warm glow emulates almost a perfect candle glow. I have two Classic pros and use them daily. The batteries last for days on the lowest setting. Plus these have come in clutch during power blackouts. Both my pros are Copper and are not only compact but simply just look better with a less pronounced battery at the base. Not a fan of the stretch. The light is too bright at low setting for my taste. The Massive battery with the 21700’s just looks off to me. If you need loads of power, get an EcoFlow, Bluetti, or anything with LiFePO4 batteries. I think these are Two completely different products. I think the stretch is for folks who actually use that thing at the highest settings, that will use it as a tool. The Olight Classic pro is more for ambience and looks, and when the SHTF both will come in handy.
Thanks so much for leaving a detailed and informative comment. I really do like the warm glow of the pro. We've used it on several camping trips and have enjoyed the warm and inviting atmosphere it provides. 😁👍

I love the warm glow of the light that it gives off and the benefit of being able to run these while you sleep without the concern for fire.
That is probably one of the most important points Mildred, thank you! 😊🙏
I agree definitely looks like the mini versions of the old Victorian street lighting very cool. Ill have to pick the stretchy one! 😆
I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees that 😅
Ah, they're both cute. They look like toys next to your big hands. Look more like decor items. Thanks for the review.👍
😆😆 yeah, the camera adds 10 lbs, lol
I have the pro but honestly I really do like the stretch! plus its brighter and has more run time!
Great points!
I think the stretch is a good idea. Thank you!
My pleasure as always 😁👍

I like the features of the Stretch but the brass Pro is prettier.😁👍 Nice review, Grey.
Thank you, JT! 🙏😊💛 See you tonight on the live 🥳
I think I would be happy if I owned either one of these
@@Simple-R-Us they both do come in handy

They are both very cool, I've been. Using the pro for quite some time, but I really like the stretches capabilities as well.
I own all accept stretch. I will buy copper stretch when on sale.
That's great! I really love the olantern series myself. 😁
Thanks Grey I would like either one but I think the stretch would be my overall pic Would love to have it in camo if they'd make it that way.
Thank you, and camo would be really cool! 😁🤘

Afternoon 😊👋
Definitely the bronze.
The stretch is cool. Can you get it in the copper color? OK brass?
Good question. You'll have to click the link 🤣🤣 But honestly, I'll have to check myself. The sale starts at 8 pm
@@GreyManPrepping I was in your link while watching your video.
🤣😎 Awesome
Stretch. They both look nice enough to be sitting out.
Agreed 😁👍
🦋🇺🇸👍 I actually like them both
I'm in agreement with you there 😁
10 days? Did you mean 10 nights?
Tomato Tamato 🤣 but yeah, night, on the paperwork, it said days, so I went with it, lol
Gramma needs a good Stretch🤣
