Ma'am, to be honest I had tried this recipe once before but it did not turn out the way I expected - Surely I must have gone wrong with the execution / measurements somewhere. Today again I gave it a second attempt and my wife just loved the way it turned out. Just a tiny twist that I did - I didn't cook the rice along with the vegetables, but boiled and drained separately and then mixed after the vegetables were sauteed enough. So very grateful to you and please keep posting such wonderful recipes. Very helpful during these lock-down times to enhance one's cooking skills.

soak the rice for 10 to 15 min before cooking and reduce the quantity of water by 1/4 cup to avoid dryness of rice
