- Come join us, Mel & Caroline aka the TravelFlirts as we continue our 11 day transatlantic cruise from spectacular Lisbon, Portugal to Miami, US.
Our 11 day adventure included stops at the exotic and mysterious Islands of the Azores, the chilled and laid back St. Thomas AVI, and a final stop at Taino bay on the beautiful lush tropical island of Dominican Republic.
In this episode, we enjoy our fourth sea day. We take time to explore & enjoy all that the VIVA has to offer especially as the weather continues to improve & the sun shows up! Break out the shorts & T'shirts...
We try out the Buffet Surfside cafe for breakfast (too busy to film!) and it did not disappoint!
There was line dancing, there was paper flower crafting, there were fun gameshows...all mainly taking place in the Atrium...
We tried out the Commodore Restaurant for the first time & this main dining room did not disappoint! More intimate than Hudsons, it creates an environment of an upscale dinner experience.
The main event for the day was the NCL exclusive Press Your Luck gameshow, although we couldn't record it we would absolutely recommend that you should go and see it!
The evening ended with the fabulous and talented David & Stephanie Paige at the Metropolitan bar...
Who says Sea Days can be boring? Not us!! And certainly not onboard the beautiful Viva!

Liking the vlog, thanks for the Viva insight. Question why are the musicians set up in front of two benches of seating. Is there not a better spot?
Hey! Firstly thanks so much for watching! Secondly, That’s a great question! Although the Metropolitan bar is a music venue it doesn’t have a set stage area .. the design of the bar is such that the area between the 2 benches actually provides the best viewing for the maximum people 😊
