- In this episode of Lauren of All Trades... Lauren checks out all the meals at Norwegian Prima's two main dining rooms!
There is no assigned dining on Norwegian and reservations are not needed for either dining room. You can make reservations ahead of time for the dining rooms, but not once you're on board (at least that was my experience).

great information for the Prima thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching! Glad you found it useful!
Thank you Lauren.
Interesting that they have a Cagney’s Steakhouse 🥩 section on the menu! How do the prices compare to dining at Cagney’s?
I paid zero attention to that section when I was on board. So I just looked at the Cagney menu and those items are SO much more on the Cagney’s menu. Which makes no sense. Except that NCL has a habit of inflating their costs to make the Free at Sea promo seem more valuable, so that’s the only thing that can explain why you can pay $25 for the Ribeye at the dining room and then the same thing (sauce and sides cost extra) is 51$ at Cagney’s. 🤷♀️
We were on the Prima in February and the dining room menus stayed the same every day! Has this changed to a different menu every day?
There’s one section on the menu that stays the same and then the rest changes every day. That’s been my experience on all NCL cruises including Prima. Sorry, I can’t speak to your experience.
Thank you! When the Prima started taking passengers the MDR menu stayed the same and was not received well! I said that I wouldn't sail a Prima class ship again if they didn't have a changing menu.
Do Hudson & Commodore have a different menu everyday or is it the same menu for the entire duration of the cruise?
I think the breakfast menu might be the same every day (we only went once); I think the lunch menu changes every day (we only went once); and I know that the Classic Entrees section and the Cagneys section of the menu stays the same, but the rest of the dinner menu is different every day.
@@laurenofalltrades Thank-you.
Commodore is complementary right?
Correct. Commodore and Hudson's are both complimentary.
@@laurenofalltrades Including that full wine list?
@@VitoCasalinuovoNo alcoholic drinks are free unless you have the drink package. Sodas, juices, and bottled water (among some others) are also not free.
@@laurenofalltrades We have a drink package but not the premium drink package. There are some excellent wine selections on that list and was wondering? Might be too specific of a question. Thanks for the content and your answers none the less!
@@VitoCasalinuovoAh! Yes, so any glass of wine that is $15 or less is included. Any glass over $15 you would pay the difference on - so if it's $16, you would be charged $1 plus the gratuity on $1 (so, $1.20 total). Bottles you have to pay for, but are, I think 20% or 25% off with the package.
You look similar to Celine Dion.
