I am stunned. This is glorious. Every one of these young musicians is brilliant, but what they accomplish together is magic. They transport us back to the Renaissance and Baroque eras with such convincing ease and grace, as if they had been born centuries earlier. But the energy is now! Breathtaking. 🙏🏼❤️💥
Stunning music by great composers, and performed by VERY gifted musicians. The voice of the young lady is sublime. It couldn't be done any better, and would love to hear more from this group.
I sometimes wonder and fear that this music won’t be kept alive, but after hearing this, I don’t think I’ll ever fear that again. It’s obviously safe and in excellent, sensitive hands. Truly wonderful!
Not to exaggerate, but this is one of the best music performances I've ever heard. Reignited my love for music and baroque music in particular. If I could buy this, I would. Thanks to all the excellent musicians featured.
What a delight to see these young people not only playing this music but playing it so expertly and with such obvious enthusiasm. It fills me with hope that such beautiful music continues to flourish.
Wonderful. The way the pieces just flow into each other. The chemistry between the musicians is palpable. I was reminded just why Se L'aura Spira has been one of my favourite songs since the 1980s.
In the mid of a second lockdown this is simply uplifting..is also beautiful to listen to these young and talented musicians playing with such joy and passion. Bravi!
this group is the greatest that I've ever seen, Lea is a so good interpreter of this music, grace, volubility. She knows how to use her voice like a painter
These youngsters inspire each other. They’re spiritually uplifted with their empathy for the music they create. Their eye contact, body language and sheer enthusiasm for the task in hand is a treat to witness. Subbed in expectation of good things to come.. Thank you all
My word, am I glad I stumbled across this after watching Lea Desandre elsewhere. The joy these youngsters (I'm pushing 70) have in their music making is wonderful and beautifully executed.
This was amazing, and brightened my day. Not only the technical skill, but also the energy and enjoyment the musicians had in playing the music (especially when being recorded, which can be a dry & difficult time to play.) Excellently done!
It is quite difficult to find an exact beginning of the pieces, but the times are approximately these: 0:44 Claudio Monteverdi - Si dolce è tormento 4:41 Girolamo Frescobaldi - Se l'aura spira 7:12 Joan Ambrosio Dalza - Calata 9:01 George Frideric Handel - Ombra mai fu (Extrait de Serse) 12:41 Tarquinio Merula - Canzonetta spirituale sopra alla nanna + Ciaconna 15:55 Claudio Monteverdi - Quel sguardo sdegnosetto
After Ombra mai fu, They go directly to the Merula's Ciaconna, Here, she does not sing the Canzonetta spirituale sopra la nanna.. I was suprise cause only this is already 9 minutes...
She has a stellar voice! The lute playing is great, as are all the other performers. This just calmed me after watching a political video. Make music, not war.
I agree. That's why I like the former president because he didn't start a war. Unfortunately very-very rare in US politics. Make music and make love and not war.
@Harold Anderson We Hungarians love peace that came after going into war with Islam and socialism. We won the wars and now we are peace loving people who believe in making love .
@@nandorblue The monument of Shoes on the Danube in your capitol belies your statements. Or is your position than once you have killed everyone you don't like then you can have your "peace"?
@@jkosku We killed? I think you are talking about the occupation of Hungary by Nazi German forces. You may want to look up "Operation Margarethe" and tragedies that followed the occupation including atrocities committed by installed collaborating governments. Similar tragedies happened with communist collaborating governments who were there to serve the needs of the occupiers. The only difference between them were the numbers of the murdered. The commies managed to slaughter 19 million in Eastern Europe alone. Even the Nazis were not able to kill that many. However that's just one of the reasons why we want to live in a society that is free of National Socialism, Communist style Socialism or any type of socialism and Islam. All the tragedies in our history were committed in the name of those dictatorial ideologies. Thanks for you comment jkosu.
This is exactly the way I handle the pandemic. It is impossible to listen to the lies on radio and tv - so I listen to critical voices on youtube . And after a while I have to remind myself that there still is beauty in the world and people who love their job and take it serious.
Fabulous. I just came across these terrific performers. The soprano is exquisite as is the throb (?) player. All wonderful and so in tune with their music. :-)

So beautiful and soothing. Such a happiness in their faces. Bravi. Bravo !!! Hermosa y potente voz !!!
What passion cannot music raise and quell! When Jubal struck the chorded shell, His list'ning brethren stood around, And wond'ring, on their faces fell, To worship that celestial sound. Less than a god they thought there could not dwell Within the hollow of that shell, That spoke so sweetly and so well. What passion cannot music raise and quell! Grüße und Zuversicht aus Stuttgart

Stunning music by great composers, and performed by VERY gifted musicians. The voice of the young lady is sublime. It couldn't be done any better, and would love to hear more from this group.
Oh my. The Handel was sublime. Other worldly. Blessings on each of these gifted and sensitive musicians.

If Europe doesn't decide to have a war and destroy it all over again.
Its wonderful to know that WE are not alone 😁🙂
Baroque music has been going on for ever 250 years,
I' m not sure some other music style could do better,
It' s timeless music !
What a remarkable bunch of young musicians. The future of early music is in good hands.

What you are attributing as "enthusiasm" is very distracting in my opinion. Far easier to listen to than to watch.
Simply beautiful,as are all the performers.
Absolutely wonderful performance ! Thank you
Fuck me, I can't even handle this much joy and energy expressed through music, after 18 months without live concerts.
