Funny, I was so mesmerized by her bass drum sound that I asked under one of her videos and she was super nice in explaining some details. I love this community!
Haaa! I love that hand she waved around 46:00 when the kick comes in. You know she does that whether she’s being filmed, in a club, or totally alone. As any electronic musician would do when they make a sick transition.
Yupppp haha
It's not just the case and the gear. Julia has this great feeling for endless grooves that just never get boring.
thank you Robert :)
Aha! She starts from a previously composed arrangement, but around the halfway point enters "jam" territory. Very sensible approach to a live performance! Thanks
I am glad that the series continues! Thanks to both of you for the interesting insight.
Thank you Martin for your insight on your setup in the previous episode. I have been enjoying your Dub Techno sessions for years now, especially the longer ones.
Minimal gear - Massive Music! It's not the gear in your studio, is the musician :-) Awesome! Fantastic walk and talk through of the patches. Really love this series - more please :-)
I'm not sure I'd call a ~$10K modular set up "minimal", but it's certainly compact at least.
@@Underwaterbob Yeah! one out of two ain't bad 😊
Fantastic run-through, thank you for organising this Loopop, and Julia for making the time to jump into it.
Excellent! Thank you for sharing so generously - I learned a lot, and I especially appreciate that the tech never takes over, but is only used in pursuit of that ‘vibe’ .
I love the series as I stated before, a great way for us who are starting out to get a glimpse of how it all works.
State Azure is someone I would love to see featured on here. Keep them coming
yessssss he would be great :)
Alba Ecstacy is another I'd like to see, Adrian produces some very good work.
Good god yes please.
yes :)
Seconded.
If not all of State Azure complete setup, I think he sometime uses some simpler setups
Thanks for the awesome video! Great work Julia and Loopop
Thank you very much Ziv for having Julia as a guest on your channel and for giving her the opportunity to talk about her live and studio set up, her creative workflow and tips for performing live. It was great to see Julia so passionate about using modular synthesizers and make the best out of the Endorphines modules. It convinced me to explore further the modules that she is using and maybe purchase some of them to compliment my setup. Keep up the great work!
This is one of the most comprehensive modular tutorial videos out there. Well done 👏
Amazing, awesome ! Thank you so much to you and Julia too. Good luck !
This is gold! Thank you to both 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️♥️♥️
I loved this. The fact she can launch different loops from the same pad depending on velocity kind of, as they say, baked my noodle.
Super helpful and informative - and lots of fun! Thanks for putting this together!
Thanks Julia for your generous explanation. It's really cool to see the kit and the process involved 😎
She is amazing. Gorgeous with intelligence, and her music is amazing. thank you for bringing her to our attention.
Love these artist spotlights. Great session with Julia on making some tasty techno modular jams! 🙌

she's so cool. plus she's learned her craft very well. i'm not a huge fan of dance music but she somehow gets ME wanting to dance in my room like no one is watching! thanks for putting together this inspiring interview.
the patch with triggering different samples with velocity - excellent idea - thank you :)
I have listened to that set so many times so this is a welcome surprise.
The Ground Control module in development is exactly what I've been waiting for.

I want to learn how to do all this cool stuff. 😭
I like the music a lot too
Thanks for your performance wisdom! :) I'm using the Finalizer for my eurorack stuff since I read an older article/interview of you. It really improved my sound a lot!
Amazing!
Just amazing. This is without doubt the best YT video I've ever watched. I learned a lot. It was a pleasure to get to know Julia's workflow and style in such detail. The music and setup is inspiring. Thanks for hosting Loopop.
Loopop.. Hello my friend.. Glad to see you are teaming up with Julia, a great artist from my city of Barcelona.
My pleasure! I love Barcelona and hope to come visit again soon!
My heart belongs to Barcelona! Such a beautiful city filled with magic!
@@BeniRoseMusic Let me know guys if you ever come around...
She's not exactly "from" Barcelona, but it's a lovely city to live in, that much is true!
As a skateboarder Barcelona has a special place in my heart, can’t wait to visit some day
thanks a lot Julia and Loopop! I've learned a lot...inspirational
Loopop and J. bondar. I’m so hyped 🤩

Very talented artist here ! I'm so impressed ! Congratulations :)
Genial !
Great breakdown and music. I sold my eurorack rig because of how I couldn't wrap my head around gigging with it, and this video makes me regret that decision while simultaneously confirming that it was the right call.
omg cant wait !
Love to see your a fan of TR/ST 🖤
Julia is Awesome really inspiring and talented women respect
Excellent episode. This sure beats recent Telekom Beats episodes for sure
Some great inspiration! Gonna go home and make some music now!
I think what Julia does is amazing! “Running with the Wolves” on Industrial Symphony is such an inspiration.
This video is amazing. It is interesting to see such a different workflow compared to mine.
PS: I also own Enorphines module as many people here and I am very satisfied. Let's not forget about beautiful visual design as details are insane. It is one of my best (if not the best) looking modules for sure!
I love the Tron visuals. Really gave me some ideas on how to design my own studio. Reminds me Daft Punk.
Julia you are my hero 🔥
that was great!
And now I want to build a euro rack case like this as well. Great and well thought out setup and very musical ! Love it :)
fight the GAS!
@@couchcamperTM Its ever expanding 😶
Wow! Amazing artist. Amazing knowledge of her Instruments. Well explained walk through. And also GREAT camera work/angles. Kept the video as interesting as she keeps her music. Evolving and never boring.
AND SPEAKS 4 LANGUAGES!! I'm clearly not doing enough with my life! 😂
Very interesting !
wooow, very cool!!!
This is most interesting modular video online. Please do more of that.
Top Julia!!!I am Big fan to Julia & Endorphin.es❤️❤️ Amazing Set Up !Thank’S!😃
Nice🔥🔥
If this was the 90s, you would deserve your own tv show. Really up'ed your game Loopop.
I just started to think about selling some machines and swap for endorphin modulars!!! This is how great it was to see you playing!!! Thank you :)
All hail the Queen (of Pentacles)! Love Endorphin stuff. Great video, Julia and Loopop. :)
She is awesome! Go to her channel and listen to her tracks!
Julia’s music I’m into it
Wow this woman is incredibly smart, not only can she work a euro rack like it’s 2nd nature to her, but she can also speak multiple languages.
Beautiful setup. You're an amazing woman. I also realize now that it was your voice introducing the Queen of Pentacles, which I immediately wanted when I saw the video. Thanks for everything!
Oh, loopop, this is the treatiest treat so far. Thank you very much !
😎 very coool and inspirational 👏
Great video :D
Been following her since a bit more than a month, she's a quite interesting artist;
looking forward to see how she creates her tracks! :-)
inspirational
Absolutely great stuff. Julia is amazing.
This is so useful and interesting at the same time. If only school had been this way. Anyway, thanks to Julia and Loopop for making me a little bit smarter.
Look at all those freaking cables.. I thought my minibrute2s was complex with 8 cables punched.. this is someone who has seriously studied and mastered sound design. There’s not too many chicks that I know that are masters of modular.. from one female to another.. my hats.. no.. I’m bowing.
But how many of these cables are actually performing a purpose?
I have only fooled around with modular synths in software.
When I was finished, I pulled some of the virtual cables and the sound didn’t change.the ones that changed I put back, obviously.
If cables are used to change the flow of sequences…. I’m mentally too lazy for that. Then I’d rather use anything with a piano roll or something along the lines of a keystep.
Perfect configuration, version 1.
That Manson shirt always stood out. I always liked it anyway
