50 Yrs Later Zodiac Killer Had His Ashes Spread Overlooking Crime Scenes

- Gary Francis Poste, the alleged Zodiac Killer, who passed away August 2018 at the age of 80 chose to be cremated and had his ashes spread in the Sierra Mountains overlooking San Francisco. This independent cold case team has made a claim in the past about the identity of DB Cooper. led by Thomas Colbert they claimed that certain letters supposedly sent by DB Cooper to Newspapers were imbedded codes. They weren't claiming the whole letters were a code but they picked out a few phrases and claimed that these phrases decoded said "371st" "I am 1st LT Robert Rackstraw" "11th GS" "ASA (Army Security Agency)" which are connected to their suspect Robert Rackstraw.
(You can find different sentences in the DB Cooper letter and use any code you want to spell out other things.) After The FBI closed the DB Cooper case and said they will only accept evidence "the money or parachute" then 6 months later his team claims they found the location of the parachute DB Cooper buried after his jump and turned in to the FBI a small piece of what they found. Desperate measures!
With the Zodiac case many people do not know that there was a murder in 1966 which some NOT all but some investigators believe is connected to the 1969 Zodiac murders. So his team claim they have identified the killer in the 1966 case and since other investigators believe the 1966 case is connected to the 1969 murders THEREFORE Their suspect is the ZODIAC. Its laughable how you can take a huge leap in this illogical reasoning. Colbert this time is smarter and is the not the FRONT Man talking to media about this finding but instead letting other members of his cold case team do it. WHY? probably because he knows the public will roll their eyes seeing him make the same claims as he did with the DB Cooper case.
Conclusion-Even if they have correctly identified DB Cooper and/or the Zodiac I would not rely on his evidence nd findings. He has reputation for misleading and manipulating "facts" and "evidence" to solve a case. So do not believe everything you see online or any media outlets. Do your own extensive research to come to conclusion. That also goes to what I have posted. Do your own research to determine if I have provided you with honest nd correct information.

All they gotta do is a dna test and they won't, because solving it doesn't sell books and movies.

Looking at it from their perspective they are trying to spread knowledge and earn money and not just come up with bogus conclusions implicitly. It would be better to not say they are trying to solve the case and giving sensationalized headlines though. It is clear what they are looking at is inadequate to contribute to an actual solving of the case.

He lived in Groveland, which is in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, so I don't buy it. Someone needs to show some proof, because so far I haven't anything ohther than he was a mean old man that has forehead wrinkles. Where can this cipher information be found, or anything for that matter to tie him to any of these murders? I've been looking all morning, and have found nothing so far.
So many people have been suspected as the zodiac for years so until there is DNA evidence it’s all circumstantial.
A lot of people haven’t been listening to the detectives. They stated he was traveling to each of those individual sites under other pretexts and the murders just so happened to happen. They really stated a whole lotttttt more, search them up.
They have not found the Zodiak killer. Absolutely no concrete evidence and never would have even made it to trial..D.A. would have laughed at the evidence.

There is absolutely no real thing tying this guy to the Zodiac Killer and just testimony from people who are excited by the fact that he could possibly be the Zodiac Killer and have skewed judgment now. I completely agree there is no reason this guy has any affiliation with anything Zodiac at all.

There's a lot more evidence that I didn't even touch in this video thats even more compelling. I apologize for messing up the last name so much and yes even what I mentioned may not pass reasonable doubt in a court of law, but I would bet anything in the next year or so DNA will conclusively let us know for sure if Porte is guilty and the Zodiac killer. You said in the video his name was Forte . But then you acknowledged the mistake in your comment. But further in your comment you out spell his name as Porte. Isn't in fact Poste? I'm so confused.
The issue with the Zodiac case is that many of the law enforcement offices who were investigating the Zodiac case did not believe all the murders were connected. (maybe the Dec. 1968 and July 1969 are connected-both being lover lane murders) but many speculate that the Sept. 1969 Lake Berryessa case is a copycat and the Sept. 1969 Cab Driver murder was unrelated. From my understanding is that police do not believe the all Zodiac letters were from the Zodiac. Maybe a few but that is not even clear. So they murders may not be connected and the killer may not of been writing the letters. Some speculate that local reporters who had easy access to police reports may have written the letters to increase new paper circulation. All speculation but nobody can actually agree all the killings and letters are even connected.
Hopefully they will show exactly how they determined the ciphers and his full name Gary Francis Poste are equated

How specific were his instructions on where to spread the ashes, whether it was a specific place in the Sierra Mountains? The Case Breakers are planning to search for burial sites expecting to uncover unknown victims, I could just imagine a serial killer asking to have their ashes spread over a location relevant to their murders.
Yeah. They said they new where his last victim was laid to rest. That he moved her body from a previous spot. They are supposed to know where the body is and know where the weapons he used for the killing are buried . And the we’re taking a helicopter out in 2 different places. They had all the evidence just waiting to be dug up. They said they were waiting on the weather to get better. And plan doing it in the spring of 22. This past spring. Who spread his ashes over the mountains?

How come the solution to the cipher has not been published that is said to use the name Gary Francis Poste?

They are non-convincing solution that do not reveal real words even. Answers to ciphers that come up with answers like these are almost always incorrect. Gary Francis Poste is like half of the alphabet. You can get an alternate message by taking away half of the alphabet in other words. What they say is fallacious.

Thanks for the video, but this is not enough. We need to see the evidence of how they solved the cipher with the name. The DNA on the stamp needs to be compared to Poste’s DNA which they can likely get from his possessions or even a cross reference to a relatives DNA. Otherwise this theory is no better than Arthur Leigh Allen’s.

There was more than one murderer Arthur Leigh Allen friend came forward said he licked his stamps and that Arthur Leigh Allen had said that he wanted to shoot a bunch of kids bouncing out of school bus and all those things Arthur Leigh Allen had an arrest warrant being issued to him and he was found dead on his floor from a heart attack so there's more than one murderer there's another murderer that's responsible and 43 others of the victims but my husband and I were just talking about this gentleman sketch today and then I just found this out so that's good news this is the guy that was down by Modesto

Firstly they haven't 'caught the guy'. There is no physical evidence that this guy is the zodiac killer. They haven't done any hand writing tests, there is no physical evidence to link him to the murders. Before you call out someone as being the zodiac have some confirmed evidence. Think of that guys family. Having scars from a police sketch is pretty weak being that the source of it is from three teenagers who witnessed the murder of Paul Stine from across the street.
Poste's family is already selling him out as a violent, venomous, creep. Even Mr Poste turns out not to be Z, he'll do until we find the real guy.
