2 Additions to doing this: - dont interrupt the oracles "summon water elemental", the watere elementals have the same health as other small mobs, but are worth 3x the xp, similar to the big ones -at 38.00 72.00 there is a spawn for 2 wormy bois, they are worth more than other elites, check there every few minutes (you need to land on the exact spot for the to crawl out of the ground) Took me between 40-45 minutes for a full level, no rested XP and not doing any petbattles, purely flying around killing mobs on enhance shaman Great Guide :)

The maw intro is intresting but FML as soon as i hit bastion its a slumber party man i hate that zone and it is so tedious to navigate same with Ardenweald on my last alt i leveled to 57 in other areas like grinding rep with nightfallen to exalted etc almost anything is better then going through the "story" but threads of fate not tried it but sounds like BS to me as well
What if you are 50+ and have already completed everything to get into Nazjatar ? I am also finding that when trying the psync method with a starter level 1 OR trail some of the NPC in the quests you mention are gone/don't appear in order to turn in the completed quest OR the next quest get's removed and i get a message "Replay Quest Removed". Is it me doing something wrong or SOL or Blizzard creatively fixed this ? Thanks, Love your videos
I found another interesting exploit. On the Dark Iron Dwarves unlock quests, there is one that takes you to Firelands. I had a level 58 or so at the time, and half the mobs that you have to clear for the first quest in Firelands were giving about 10-20k xp each (seriously). It must just be a balance issue. Anyway, I didnt try it, but realised afterwards that I should have killed most of the mobs, dropped the quest, retaken it and repeat, killing easy mobs for massive xp. Might be that some of the other allied race intros have instanced quests that give unbalanced xp too.
While attempting to set this up I got stuck on the quest "Fortunate Souls" as the NCP's you need to complete the quest don't seem to spawn in on the alliance side
Hmmm brewmaster monk had issues with this. Always had aggro and couldn't do really big pulls. I was doing 1hr a level without rest (51-52). Might try with different spec and see if bigger pulls were getting me anything better.
So for players already having done the Nazjatar intro you must party sync, and for that WQ trick it might be technically faster XP/h wise, but you are still going to need to do all the quest chains in SL anyway if you want to unlock stuff for alts. Unless you are planning to do just the covenant stuff and nothing more, I cannot see any real benefit in levelling outside of SL. And due to mob scaling, it's not like you are going to get SL content done any faster the higher level you are. Are there any real levelling 'exploits' that actually give enough exp to make it totally worthwhile in levelling outside SL? Myself personally, I am just going to wait until flying comes out, reportedly in 9.1, before I level alts, that for sure will be the fastest way.

@Shannon, I think you miss the point. It’s more about the technique than the specific quest. Keep it in mind. With the items to get all conduits, boost renown on all factions and pick up soulbinds you’ve already done, methods like this can make things “totally worthwhile”. You could join Archvaldor’s patreon, you aren’t owed anything regardless.
It seems to just reset the entire quest chain when i activate party sync, so i can only see nathanos standing there prompting me to go back to Orgrimmar and start there. What am i doing wrong?
@@archvaldor Was about a level an hour? Doesn't suffer any XP decay at all. Also completed getting Pristine versions of all BfA artifacts while levelling.

@@archvaldor yea despite being the GM which I think I failed to say lol. I tried to set a slower pace but everyone just wanted to jump straight to HC raiding and even try skipping Norm. I mean I couldn’t see the point in rushing so much. We ran mythic keys a lot which was fun.
I'm unsure if I'm doing anything wrong here but the xp per hour is very very low. It takes ages for the followers to kill the mobs and the respawn rate is pretty high too. Elites give 1.3k and normal mobs give around 400. Anything unusual?

I stopped doing them for a while because most people stop watching and don't even know they are there- which hurts me in viewer retention which means less views. But it feels a bit soulless without them so I'm going to keep doing them probably - with this one I didn't even have anything decent to use though.

On the horde Najatar questline I got to the point where a little guy from the town joins me and then there's a cutscene. He isn't an elite, is this as far as I should go or is there another elite joins me after?
No, I think Llama did something in that area and it was interesting. Maybe very interesting with gathering. Only thing that put me off looking into it is 1) I need to add significantly to what llama did or I'm just ripping his content off and 2) people like to advertise their hatred of archaelogy, never entirely sure why.

Well I know the pet battle technique and it’s CLEARLY the best choice especially if you have a razer mouse it’s just afk. However you do get disconnects when you pet battle and I was wondering if you know what causes the disconnects and how to avoid them ?
@@archvaldor well my macros press buttons for the pets to cast skills and also revive battle pets so I don’t think it’s being afk that causes the disconnects. They happen when a new pet battle starts and they happen at random. Some times it takes 6 hours to happen some times they happen immediately so I don’t know what’s going on. I think it’s some sort of a pet battle bug when the fight ui starts

I tried in horde but no deal, keeping porting.There no repeatable quest on the quester porter. I dont have maw quest done so dont know if its because that. Trying archeology farm... about 30k for 8 minutes of farm. Ps.: I did a few things and started work on horde side. Ps.2: From quest start with rested bar until normal xp was about 30 minutes and got 1,5 lv so clean all the alts rest xp and start farm again on the first alt - no potion, no banner, just wm on Ps.3 : To start farm the mobs, its about 8-9 minutes of quest every time so remember that and dont forget the second account, if its logout, you need do all again Ps.4: If i need delete this post, just call me lol
They nerfed some of the mobs...it was a pretty lazy fix though there's still a bunch of mobs you can glitch. Or you could try another one of my recent leveling exploits I think the others are all still untouched. The one where you kill rares will probably never get fixed.
There's quite a lot of pvp stuff but to be honest the fastest way is to just spawn kill multiple alts in a fast rez gy. That's not a lot of fun though, it is very boring. I have the 3rd highest level of honorable kills of any account in wow and I did it mainly in Ashran and AV when that was more of a thing, using heavily aoe-optimized stratgeies-most everyone is optimizing for single-target so it is pretty easy to win doing that.
Kinda...exploitation can create very enjoyable content by giving you a reason to go somewhere you never would otherwise and play it in a completely different way.
Yeah its so great waiting for the que to pop, then waiting for the guy's friend to come, then wiping because someone is undergeared/doesn't know tactics etc etc ad infinitum. Yeah f***ing great.

I try and avoid giving estimates because it greatly depends on your class and gear like most things and I want to avoid clickbait. You can certainly get under 4 hours doing this.
I don't know why people keep bringing up spamming dungeons every time I make a leveling video. Dungeons suck. I've tested them multiple times over multiple expansions and they always come out worse than anything else including questing, grinding mobs, pet battles. If you like doing them great, but fast they are not. (edit: this sounds mean for some reason which I didn't, sorry nothing personal I am genuinely mystified why this is an issue)
@@archvaldor because its fast? 😂 More so for tanks, because then you can set the speed of the dungeon runs. And after doing all the quest a few times, its not hard to blast through them without really paying attention. Did i mention its fast?
There are literally dozens of active exploits, including an actual godmode and a method to level twice as fast as using basic methods. It depends what you want to do exactly but I can't remember a time when I was offering better value, except possibly during the middle of last year when we had some active gold dupes (and people said there was "nothing" on the patreon also). Since you don't seem to be acting in bad faith, could you possibly explain why you think there is "nothing" on the patreon? Maybe I need to present things differently. Thanks.
@@archvaldor You're right, I wasn't just trying to take you down. Basically, I hopped on your patreon an looked for leveling exploits. There are 33 posts tagged with leveling, I sort by newest and the most recent one is march 29 2020. from my standpoint, those are dated and possibly patched.

if you do maw quest intro you will get 2 lvls..after that roll a tank and spam dungeons through threads of fate :D thats the fastest way this is rather boring
For the sake of humanity I should make it clear that NO ONE should ever attempt threads of fate without a large geared and skilled group, it is horribly slow and grindy solo, worse than questing. Maw gives one level as Venxai points out. Dungeons are again only worth doing in a skilled, geared group. What you aren't taking into consideration is the small but significant percentage of dungeons with pug's that fall apart since many players don't know what they are doing. Because you may have fluked a series of competent groups without experiencing issues doesn't mean that doesn't happen to other people.
I did publish some classic content most of which is still active in the patreon archives. But most stuff got fixed the second time round if it didn't the first, so its been a while since I did anything for classic. I'll probably be doing TBC stuff depending on how broken it is-actually I was going to look into whether I can find some decent farming stuff for classic in preparation for that.

Nerfed but NOT fixed however. Try searching around a bit and you'll see what I mean. You can still get a viable amount of xp with a broader route.

That's really interesting. Seems there is no way back to the dark iron quests even with timewalking though.

I think if you kill the big elite mob next to the horde cave (twice, you wait for a re-spawn) it should complete.

This has been fixed. I've tried battling the elite naga and they only give 60XP if that. My bar didn't budge much out there.
If you look around a bit harder, there's a lot of mobs still awarding full xp.

fixed sorta? i mean the wild life still gives boosted xp but the nagas dont turtles hydras water lvls not the naga ones still do

Yeah that one may not technically be an elite but it all helps, you are exactly where you should be.

No. However, be warned that one only works when a specific wq is up. There is a lot of other similar stuff on the patreon which is mostly not fixed.

They dont punish for leveling methods. But they are patched whenever arch releases a video
if i havent unlocked bfa world quests do I need to complete all 3 zones chapters to do this?
I think you still need to get pathfinder on one character on your battle.net account to access nazjatar.

You should be able to solve that with an anti-afk macro. If that doesn't work its likely a non-wow issue (there are several that can cause that).

Is this worth doing even without rested exp?
Yes. The three royal mobs alone offer almost a quest's worth of xp unrested and take 15 seconds to kill.

I try and avoid giving estimates because it greatly depends on your class and gear like most things and I want to avoid clickbait. You can certainly get under 4 hours doing this.

I don't know why people keep bringing up spamming dungeons every time I make a leveling video. Dungeons suck. I've tested them multiple times over multiple expansions and they always come out worse than anything else including questing, grinding mobs, pet battles. If you like doing them great, but fast they are not. (edit: this sounds mean for some reason which I didn't, sorry nothing personal I am genuinely mystified why this is an issue)

More so for tanks, because then you can set the speed of the dungeon runs. And after doing all the quest a few times, its not hard to blast through them without really paying attention.

Yes but not very well. They nerfed the mobs I show in the video but they missed a bunch of other ones you can still farm effectively.

There are literally dozens of active exploits, including an actual godmode and a method to level twice as fast as using basic methods. It depends what you want to do exactly but I can't remember a time when I was offering better value, except possibly during the middle of last year when we had some active gold dupes (and people said there was "nothing" on the patreon also). Since you don't seem to be acting in bad faith, could you possibly explain why you think there is "nothing" on the patreon? Maybe I need to present things differently. Thanks.
@@archvaldor You're right, I wasn't just trying to take you down. Basically, I hopped on your patreon an looked for leveling exploits. There are 33 posts tagged with leveling, I sort by newest and the most recent one is march 29 2020. from my standpoint, those are dated and possibly patched.

@@randolini458 They nerfed a lot of mobs but they missed a lot also, its still possible to gain good xp if you do a bit of testing.
Seems like this has been fixed, mobs give 66 XP per kill (I am party synced with a level 1 starter account)
Some of the mobs in the area have not.
@@archvaldor Yeah I figured it out by hitting a few mobs, but doesnt seem to be more efficient than normal levelling, shame.
I don't care how fast the leveling is, I will never again do BFA quest lines. Thanks anyway for the video I still gave it a like for the algorithm.
It only takes a few minutes but fair enough...
if you do maw quest intro you will get 2 lvls..after that roll a tank and spam dungeons through threads of fate :D thats the fastest way this is rather boring
You get 1 level after maw quest intro + dungeon spamming is slow.
For the sake of humanity I should make it clear that NO ONE should ever attempt threads of fate without a large geared and skilled group, it is horribly slow and grindy solo, worse than questing. Maw gives one level as Venxai points out. Dungeons are again only worth doing in a skilled, geared group. What you aren't taking into consideration is the small but significant percentage of dungeons with pug's that fall apart since many players don't know what they are doing. Because you may have fluked a series of competent groups without experiencing issues doesn't mean that doesn't happen to other people.

He covers that in the video. Party sync with a sub 50 character and you can redo the questline for Nazjatar
Yeah exactly. If you got to Nazjatar on your leveling character previously you can just skip straight to the psync part.

I did publish some classic content most of which is still active in the patreon archives. But most stuff got fixed the second time round if it didn't the first, so its been a while since I did anything for classic. I'll probably be doing TBC stuff depending on how broken it is-actually I was going to look into whether I can find some decent farming stuff for classic in preparation for that.

Yes though the mobs shown in the video are mostly nerfed. You'll need to go to the outer edges to find mobs which award full xp.
