I thank the 100 for leading me to this song. Been looking for another solemn TV song now that "oats in the water" is getting boring and the lyrics suck in my opinion. I wish this simply ended with them constantly chanting "we are coming home" until the end, even after it gets quiet. That would have been chilling.
Think about this... season 1, the 100 in the drop ship with this song playing softly as they all say “we are coming home” and once they hit the ground and they walk on earth the music get loud and they all run around earth as this song plays and then Clark, octavia, Finn, Bellamy, Jasper and Monte all hug and cry as this song play as the rest of the 100 are still exploring earth

I finished watching The 100 a couple of months ago. In spite of its flaws, it was a life-changing experience. I’ll treasure it and the characters forever. I’ll be making a start on the books soon enough.
This song taps into the heart and soul of The 100, imo - the delinquents. The 100 kids who got sentenced to die but fought to live... that's what made me fall in love with this show and I hope that essence isn't forgotten in the final season.
