Appreciate the video and tour! Would love a bit more on the “Meet me Tonight” and “Meet me onboard”. We travel with CPAP and other medical so figuring out the Tetris bags per day is tricky
I appreciated this video for the same reason mentioned below. I've seen others where they say the rooms are shabby and not up to Holland America's standards. Guess I have a different take on things because I expect things to be more rustic in Alaska. Thank you.
Hi, can you help me with some info on the land tour part with Holland America tours, I was looking at a 12 day Danali/Yukon cruise/ land tour (Y41). Contacted HA chat line for info regarding what were the inclusions/exclusions of this package, eg, accommodation, meals, coach and rail, as I could not find anything on theier web site. They fobbed me off to a email address for the info, however, that was a dead end as the people at that address had nothing to do with bookings and told me to ring HA, start of the merry-go round. It would be nice to know what out of pocket expenses is involved. Cheers.
Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, it is not a straight answer. Each tour has a few options from the "explore on your own" (no included excursions) to tours, with a slightly higher cost, that includes excursions like a Denali bus tour of the national park. Please reach out to us directly and we can help you select the best option for you.
My experience is HAL does not take any comments/ complaints seriously nor do they respond back to any correspondence sent to them. Bottom line, their customer service is horrible, once again based on my experience and my travel agent’s experience trying to resolve my issues.
As long as it is clean and I have what I need, I’m good. I am there to see the world.

Thanks for the comment. I must admit the rooms are rustic. Also, I was told Holland America are planning additional refurbishments to older rooms.

Not very impressive hotels
