My first show ever was Twisted Sister & Mistress on 12/29/83 at the 2002 Roller Rink in Sayville on Long Island! The roller rink eventually became a flea market, and I went there on the 10 year anniversary of that show just to walk around. Great memories!

Man this interview is awesome. Twisted sister is one of the first bands I got into when I was a very young kid pretty much my whole family are metal heads lol thank you Robb and thank you Dee 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I saw TS with Maiden in '84 at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. I still look back at that as an amazing show. Packed house and you could actually feel the floor moving.

He was probably triggered by being boo'd off the stage in San Francisco a few days earlier, when he realized they made a mistake by going the comic-book-pop-rock route. The new era was about to emerge from the Bay Area, and TS was resoundingly rejected by SF metal fans.
