I always travel in the off season, too. I got to see La Rotonda in late April and there was only one other tourist there. Unfortunately, it wasn't open to the interior the day I was there, either. It was still a thrill to experience the building exterior up close. If it was wealthy, I would build a replica, it is my favorite!
