Great coverage as always from GCN. I`ve enjoyed listening to Helen, and Nikki commenting and explaining things.I remember riding with them (though some way behind!) in our UK national series! Fantastic they are both helping youngsters and coaching!!
Very exciting racing. Thank you very much GCN for posting the race. Really spectacular to see the Dutch powerhouse Alpecin Fenix team deliver at the finish line on both races again. cdca: It was a really great battle with A. Worst, I was eating my nails almost the whole race. mvdp: is just such an amazing racer. Nikki's accent = 😍
I watch GCN from Marin County, California, I love seeing the racing from Europe. I race a Colnago C - 50 on the road. I really enjoy the womens cross racing, their form is always so perfect.
I've just got to the end of the women's race and it's the first CX race I've ever watched. Are they all this exciting? I think I'll be watching more of this and I've now got the men's to go still! Cool. :D
I haven’t heard a word about whether there was a penalty to Kastelijn runnIng backwards on the course and colliding with Verdonschot. Even in amateur races in the US, that can get you DQ’d. Are European rules so different on that matter?Illumination anyone?
Cross is coming!
Missing JP's commentary.
Maybe in the US, since it starts in frickin August... :\
Became a Sanne Cant fan today. Showed total class to wait at the end to acknowledge Anna Kay. Thanks for the CX coverage GCN

I'm really enjoying the camera angels. nice to see more wide shots to see the 2 person race and the perspective of speed.

Thanks again!
Thanks
Interesting to know why Alvarado and Kay drag the bike rather than shouldering when running. Is this just down to ride size?

Agree, it was very stupid and dangerous.
Someone in chat mentioned she got DQed afterwards, but I don't know whether that's really the case.
Yes, that is what the results have since showed.
