I need Lakers fans to understand that the way DLo is playing now… is the way DLo plays- when he is empowered to play his game. I know they are calling it a hot streak but it is not. He IS a 25+ ppg player that tailors his game to his team’s needs. This is who he is.
@@piplonf8591that’s mostly due to situation. when he went to brooklyn and the ball was in his hands he showed y’all he can cook and was the number 1 option on a fun to watch net teams that went to the playoffs led by D’lo. his career was on an upward trajectory but then he was never once given a situation after brooklyn where he was able to run an offense and was forced to be a role player which led to scoring inconsistencies bc he could never find his flow being just a system player.
Dlo was a second overall pick and an all star in Brooklyn. If given the freedom to play and not have lebron play slow ass point guards they would be OK. Darvin ham doesn't know how to use he's guards and it's quite obvious. Trade AR for Murray
Exactly HAM hasn’t givin him opportunities to be him. You see what Russ is doing now he can be him. He needs to learn how to use his role players…. And we need to trade the lower end of depth chart to get one player deeper no matter what

I think Ham, AD, and LBJ finally realized how to utilize DLo-and that is to have him get his own shots in and not to let him defer. This is what I've seen in this stretch because on a huge chunk of the games where they won and DLo is playing like the all-star Nets DLo, he has the highest or 2nd highest shot attempts on the team. What's good is that AD, Bron, and AR are dtill able to get theirs partly because of DLo's and Bron's playmaking
