Olivia Hye is my bias, and even I can tell that she somewhat struggled here. However, I'm very proud of her for pulling more of her weight without Chuu. As time progresses, you can tell BBC has been slightly training Olivia Hye's vocals more & more
When will their vocal instructor teach them to sing not from the head or throat but from diaphram. I know koreans like those kind of style but it's unhealthy for their vocal chords. The one who uses the the most correct singing technique out of all of them is Chuu and maybe Yves sometimes. Hopefully Olivia doesn't take it too strongly though, we all have bad singing days. Touring can be stressful.
One Way has always been at the top of my favorite ballads of LOONA. This time it was just yxy but they were up to the task and delivered superbly, as always when they have sung this piece of art live.
@@anyjules Chuu sued BBC to have control of her own schedule. Did you know? And since she won, she made commitments for this second part of the year, not with BBC, but with another company. So, she won't be participating in LOONA's comeback in Japan in September either.
@@emramh what happened I think is since it was the pandemic, BBC fully booked her for this year last year. After the Queendom and World Tour was announced Chuu sued BBC as she couldn't come to the tour as obviously contracts can't be cancelled just like that. So after that she got another company to manage her schedule and gigs so she can get paid right. She complained a lot about being tired and not being paid for it...
@@MsLacieable I think you're right. I have a really, really hard time believing that she intentionally booked with another company so that she couldn't be an active participant in the group.
I'm very proud of Hyeju, the high note is definitely out of her range right now, but she still took up the mantle of singing it and she could definitely get a grasp of it with more practice. I'm sure during rehearsals it was smoother and more in-tune, but a lot of nerves hit you when you're in front of a live audience and singing something like that for the first time. I'm glad to see other people also cheering her on and understanding that she just doesn't sing like that very often, so she's going to be needing more practice, but we're all super proud of her.
this is one of my favourite song, and hyeju's vocal oh my god, also gowon covering chuu's part, yves highnote, they did really great, i hope chuu will be participated in their future next concert
Hyeju was probably very nervous for this song which is why her high notes weren't the best (and this was the first show of the tour) but in most of the other shows she sounds a lot better so I think she was able to get over he nerves
gowon handled chuu's parts like a pro, her vocals should be showcased more in their music. yves however kinda disappointed me? and olivia at least tried :(
Not having Chuu is like not having Taeyeon in SNSD. Everyone is struggling and you can clearly see that. Chuu is literally the heart and soul in Loona. Broke Barely Creative, you should learn!!!
For this subunit yes since gowon and olivia hye can't sing. But for the whole group there are stil haseul, jinsoul, kim lip, heejin and yves can cover chuu's parts rather easily.

They were having a lot of mic and in-ear problems night one. You can tell they were all struggling because of that.
Yves should have gotten the highnote by far she’s better than go won and Olivia hye
yea even kim lip was struggling in the odd eye circle bit & she rarely has issues
Try to watch Loona con day 2 and day 3 it's much better.
I guess she was a bit nervous, i watched this performance in other cities and she sounded great !
Okay but Gowon is surprisingly stable, even nicely covered three of Chuu's lines
She literally sounded so amazing in the Houston concert. I'm so proud of her😭😭😭.

Yves is a very good vocalist she’s main vocalist material
YYXY without Chuu seems so incompleted :(( hope she'll be back again
Chuu is the main vocalist so ofc it feels so incomplete when her fellow members are struggling to find the note she originally sang :(
Hmmmmm chile anyways
Gowon sounded so good!!!

Poor Olivia, they gave her a note way out of her range..
Yves should have gotten it
I think she was just nervous, watch the same performance but in other cities, she did great!
i feel so bad that chuu couldn't come, she deserves so much better😞
You are not alone at all. All orbits must feel the same about Chuu absence, unfortunately she did all she could to not be there with them.

I think they are nervous bc it was the first show of the tour but they still did a good job regardless of the circumstances
And without Chuu and her god vocals :^(
They should've just played a recording of chuu for her parts...
this is amazing!!! as much as I miss chuu, hearing gowon sing like that is such a treat. they all sounded so good!!
Olivia's high note 😵
flat, poor girl.

I feel so bad for her. Hopefully this doesn't affect her negatively or make her lose any confidence in her singing :(
maybe yves should have been given that part, but since the next line was already hers to begin with perhaps it wasn't practical?
gowon was literally so stable. crazy how they don’t give her more lines. both yves and especially olivia were crazy shaky
3:05 she did so well here. it’s hard having 2 consecutive hard lines, especially when they werent “yours” in the original line up
The way Gowon could be Lead Vocalist?
Lol nope.
Not with them whispering ass vocals, girl be serious

gowon’s voice is so sweet 😭
they should've give that high note to Yves
