I swear there have been studies that have found an alarming amount of fecal matter, viruses, bacteria, etc. on makeup testers. If you wanna use products directly on your face (especially anything that goes anywhere near mouth and nose) be my guest, I'll only judge if you get mad about a break out/reaction and blame the product.

That bacteria is all throughout the product, not just on the applicators. Crème and liquid products are excellent breeding grounds for bacteria. I don’t even swatch a tester without immediately sanitizing the back of my hand or wherever I swatched. This is a GREAT way to get MRSA.

As a worker in a makeup store i can tell you that most people just love to apply the makeup inside theri mouth, eyes and nose, once a woman just took a bite of a lipstick and walked away, im still amazed by that

dont do that cause youre contaminating it with bacteria for the next person thats how we get dirty testers by those who go first thinking its clean but not thinking about the next

Never in my LIFE would I use these products on my face. If, and that's a huge if, I have to test let's say a foundation for it's shade, I do it on my hand. No for starters you need a product with salicylic acid like the cera ve acne control cleanser for pimples along with a spot treatment directly on top like a gel or patch, and then for blackheads you want a simple exfoliating toner such as the glow recipe or la roche posay solution, and then niacinamide serum or moisturizer for black/whiteheads
