I never noticed how barebones the first game was until now
That’s how things usually start out. Take Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Studio and debut film Get Out for example. Get Out was made on a small budget of $4.5 million dollars, and grossed at $255.4 million dollars in ticket sales. In retrospect, hindsight and practice, if you want to start your own cartoon, movie or video game thing, start off with something realistically doable within your budget, take a few risks, know your target audience, and things could hopefully work out.
And was still the best Jurassic Park game since Operation Genesis.
It was a very fun game.
after you play the first one for about 150 hours you realize that there is nothing left. (2020 was a year with lots of spare time...)
many of the complaints I had about the first one seem to be getting addressed by the second one. as long as there aren't a whole string of pointless missions to complete, and the infamous "wait for 5 minutes" mission goals, I will be very happy. If the same anemic mission structure still exists but all of the improvements from this video are still in, I will be regular happy.

@@Anthony-vc2fd i am not sure but devs said "we juste need to fix the bug" so i think the game gonna come soon
I'd rather them wait before announcing a concrete date until they are 100% positive it will be complete and in our hands on that day. Too many developers prematurely announce a date when they aren't sure and it leads to disappointing delays

Everyone keeps saying that it’s gonna be no different from the first game but it feels so different from the first game that it really dose sound like a worthy sequel I generally can’t wait for this game to come out at the end off this year

Ok so at it's core, the game is still "put dinos in correct spaces". I don't see the core game being different but with all new options, new dinos, new spaces and new challenges... depends if you like "putting dinos in correct spaces". If you do - you're probably gonna like this new game. If you didn't like the first one, you wont like this one LOL

Who is saying this? Literally not seeing a single person say this. If anything they're saying this looks great because they're adding what made their Planet Coaster so great. All the small details you have control over.
@@matthewhawkins7552 that all depends on how you play it mate. Not everyone plays certain games the same way. That's why they have different gameplay options, so that whoever plays it can play it the way they want.

Seeing Stegosaurus and Triceratops fight for their turf might be one of the most exciting things I’ve seen from this game yet! Depth is being added to all sorts of dinosaurs this time around I see!

@r33mote I think it will be like the regular camera when we click a dinosaur on land, like say, JWE 1s cam where we can have that free cam mode remember? Imagine that, but underwater.

I suspect they are still working on this element , they said last game it was difficult ... i think this is what they were working on when the original game game out after the last DLC.
I think the water and aquatic element will be showcased nearer release time.
I saw what looks like an aquarium or something in one of the park shots in the background. Looks like a big pool, I have to assume that is where you'll find the aquatic animals.
2min46 left, you have a pre-made lake, deep, surrounded by cement and fence.
Basically, don't expect to put your water in the size you want and interact with land dinosaurs.
2 is still based on a stupid background at the expense of freedom, creation, animation of the beasts and especially the visitors (like JPOG for this last point).
It's not complicated to make dozens of animations, isolate the one of the attack and why not create a system where those would be classified by a number of points, the biggest attack would have a % of triggering according to the power of genome of the dinosaur.
The higher its attack genome, the more likely it is to trigger a rarer and more deadly attack and to adopt a fierce and patriarchal behaviour.
This would make the dinosaurs lively, unique and make sense of multi-breed combat and interaction.
For this to happen, the game still needs to be a realistic game and not a ridiculous turn-based battle.
There should be tons of random animations, even between herbivores that can annoy each other without going straight into combat. Watch a wildlife story at least once.
Already Prehistoric Kingdom is much richer in content, so what's the point of this kind of game if the dinosaur and visitor ia so limited.
The missions and others have little real interest, we want a game of creation of living park, a huge sandbox, the story mode we do not care a little, it looks like a DLC as is.

En gros, ne t''attends pas un poser ton eau à la dimension que tu le souhaites et à une interaction avec les dinosaures terrestres.
Le 2 est encore basé sur un background à la con au détriment de la liberté, la création, l'animation des bêtes et surtout les visiteurs (comme JPOG pour ce dernier point).
C'est pourtant pas compliqué de faire des dizaines d'animations, isoler celle de l'attaque et pourquoi pas créer un système ou celles-ci seraient classifiées par un nombre de point, la plus grosse attaque aurait un % de déclenchement en fonction de la puissance de génome du dinosaure.
Plus son génome modifié d'attaque est haut, plus il a de chance de déclencher une attaque plus rare et meurtrière et d'adopter un comportement féroce et de patriarche.
Cela rendrait les dinosaures vivants, uniques et donnerait un sens aux combats et interactions multi race.
Pour cela il faut encore faire de ce jeu un jeu réaliste et pas un combat à l'apparence d'un tour par tour ridicule.
Il devrait y avoir des tonnes d'animations aléatoires, même entre les herbivores qui peuvent s'agacer entre eux sans directement passer en combat. Regarder un reportage animalier au moins une fois.
Déjà que niveau contenu Prehistoric kingdom est bien plus riche, alors quel intérêt ce genre de jeu si l'ia dinosaure et visiteur est si limité.
Les missions et autres ont peu d’intérêt réel, on veut un jeu de création de parc vivant, un bac à sable énorme, le mode histoire on s'en tape un peu, on dirait un DLC en l'état.

Hope there's more vibrant options for dinosaur cosmetics. I didnt like how most of the options for cosmetics in the last game were "which shade of brown or grey would you like your dinosaur to be?" Since its been established that InGen dinosaurs are not actual dinosaurs, I think it'd be an acceptable break from realism to have some spectacular Technicolor dinosaurs.
I agree. I like the idea of having various stripes and multicolor dinosaurs. I remember when playing JPOG I spent a lot of times looking for skin mods

There's a lot to be excited about already! The new species interactions, all the customization options, the new scientist system, and those QoL additions with the airlift release and the paleobotany system. I can't wait to see more!

THIS. IS. SO. DANG. AWESOOOMEEE!!! I LOVE all of IT!... ALL OF IT...!! But my favorites are all of the AMAZING NEW ANIMATION/INTERACTIONS!!! AAAA!!! I love when the trike and stego fought, I loved the raptors chasing their prey together, I loved how the trike just hit the other trike. IDK, I JUST LOVE IT!!! Happy tears, Rich. Happy tears. :')

New one for sure. They're definitely going to go with the film-canon design featured in Dominion. I wouldn't be surprised if the Allosaurus also received a new model based on its 'Battle at Big Rock' design.

Man! I have posted some negative comments based on features and mechanics I believe I won't get in JWE2 of which most are speculation.
I know I probably won't be able to make the T-rex enclosure like it is in Jurassic Park with the drop and the walls and all that to name just one thing I feel certain about, still not sure if I can mix say... jungle with the pines but you guys have made me truly happy with everything I saw here and I am now fully on board the excitement monorail.

Finally gameplay. Glad to see we have more rocks and can rotate them. It really adds more creativity to the game with is what the first game was lacking
