You should visit Islamabad, Peshawar and Murree, Abbottabad and from there you should go up north like Hunza and the Pak-Chinese border in Khanjarab Pass and other places in Gilgit-Baltistan region. Its a perfect time to visit the north as its the spring and summer time. You will love it If you find a trusted and genuine guy from up north as a guide.

There is another option of breakfast "halwa puri" which is available usually on sunday morning and it is just amazing 😉 There are some option of chai as well like kashmiri chai and cardamom tea... And tons of other food options which are normally cooked at home 🤤 And on the top for breakfast normal paratha, omelette and chai from roadside restaurants Best of luck!

Hi luke absolutely loving your vids. Im 50 years old and was born and bred in the uk. My parents were originally from Pakistan from rawalipindi (dad) and mom (sangla hill). Food wise my recommendations are: chapki kebab, try the turkish shwarma in islamabad, mamu burger in rawalpindi, try nihari from kartarpura rawalpindi, try bhutr jarahi in larachi or lahore, try the pakora fish pakora and chicken pakora.try the differrent lassi. Trh chaneh halwa puree.try the pilau roce woth roast and kebab from saviour in rawalpindi.try the pizza in rawalpindi and not forgetting the paye which is goat or beef feet stewed in a curry. Also in sanglahill thry do special samosa with chaneh fillimg and chaneh sauce but this should be available in lahore also. Try these first amd also look for quetta chai or tea shops as their tea is better. Good luck enjoy pak

Luke you can get such parathas in Australia, they are called Frozen Parathas, you'll find them in a desi grocery store. Its ready-made, you just have to pop into a frying pan with a dash of oil if you like :)
I guess you are not from Pakistan coz frozen parathas are totally different from these parathas this paratha is on next level you won't understand coz you might never had it ..
Basically in India and Pakistan, if the menu item is in English and the waiter isn’t able to understand what you are ordering, you can always go ahead and point the same item in the menu, and they will get that for you. They know everything by heart even though it’s hard for them to pronounce or understand the word.
Luke if you are missing the Chain/tea ,you can make it by brewing it in a saucepan or put tea,milk,sugar and water in a mug and boil it in the microwave! More milk than water. Some PPP add a pinch of salt too.

Wonderful to see you exploring random very local and cheap food outlets. But these places lacks tourist attraction touch. Karachi has offer a lot for tourists. You must visit few more places. A mall across has an excellent food court offering best Pakistani and continental meals. The name of mall is Dolmin. Go to Burns Road, totally local food and cheap. Also visit Boat Basin, Do Draya. Than do visit other parts of country like Lahore, Islamabad and Northern Areas, you will be surprise to see variety and diversity in cousins a country can offer. Likewise, you will be able to see all weathers and all terrains in one country at similar timeframe. But one thing you will find that culture of every region will show you warm hospitality. Its good you insist to pay but I ll suggest accept people hospitality as well, people will love you more once you respect their traditions and culture. Lastly, you will find three tiers of quality and ambience in restaurants and hotels. Cheap, mid range and expensive. The service and ambience is according to price, this will help tourists planning to visit Pakistan to choose as per their liking. Love you a lot for your all the energy and efforts. May your visit be best memory for life.
