I have followed every inch with you in sewing this wonderful grocery bag!! This is the very best of all in making a bag! I have made 4 bags and all my friends want one now. I never sewed anything before and I just made this bag. Granted it took me a lot longer than I expected ( something like 2 hours) but I love it! Thank you for this wonderful tutorial now I will be making more and hopefully they will take lesser time the more I make

This tutorial seems easy to follow. Getting ready to make a bunch of bags for my daughter in law and myself. Some stores in my area are not going to supply plastic bags anymore. Good for Mother Earth

how much fabric do you need?
This may sound silly, but does anyone have the measurements of the plastic bag, handles etc. In vermont stores stopped using these bags a couple yrs ago or so and I dont have one of these laying around anywhere. If I can get the measurements I will make myself a paper template. This is awesome. Thanks
