Heatsink for a Insta360 ONE R action cam

  • I have manufactured this aluminium heatsink because this action camera, when recording in static mode, has a problem of overheating, to the extent of losing the connection with the mobile phone and not knowing if it is recording or not, quickly consuming the battery.

    Great idea and a must have. Please tell me how long the process took and at what frequency did it happen?

      Hi, this time I have not published the parameters because the cutting conditions are not ideal, and I had to slow down the process to prevent the wire from breaking. The deionisation resin was worn out and the filter was saturated, so the water is not in perfect conditions and I have to lower the cutting parameters, the wire speed, the water cleaning jet and the target speed.
      However, these are the cut-off data:
      cutting length: 1500mm
      material: aluminium (7075)
      thickness: 30mm
      cutting time: approx 5h
      current: 26A arc on: 6us arc off:35us power: about 168W
      operating mode: Iso pulse
      Frequency: 24.39 KHz
