6:10 the math isn’t correct Mike. It’s not a 3 point swing to miss a 2 pt conversion. In fact in comparison to “taking a point” (which by the way, doesn’t “ come off the board” bc a kick still has to be made) you get zero points. Once you decide and only after once you decide to go for the 2, it becomes a 2 point swing to make or miss. Never does 3 points factor in the equation. But it’s really a 1 point swing. You kick the PAT for 1 or miss the conversion and get 0

Not much separating Kansas City, Buffalo and Baltimore. I think Baltimore is the most impressive overall team in terms of controlling both lines of scrimmage but it always seems to make a critical mistake. If it's not a mistake then it's going away from a strength. Buffalo is too haphazard. How many times can it come down to fourth down, or Allen keeping a play alive? That spot can obviously be argued, but even on one of the ones they converted Allen was jumping over the top extending the ball like he was on the goal line.

I would be in agreement with Mike if Pete Alonso had not been offered a very competitive deal last season to remain with the Mets, which he turned down. As for being resentful of the Soto contract, the fact is that Soto is four years younger and has established himself as one of the very best hitters in the game. Plus, he's an outfielder. While it can be posited that perhaps the Mets should have overpaid a little due to Pete being a homegrown player who is popular, has been durable, fields his position reasonably well, and is a homerun hitter, the market up until now doesn't agree. Really, I would like to hear from Mike what HE thinks would be a fair offer from the Mets given the fact that he has turned down more than one. The owner sounded quite frustrated with the situation, which leads me to believe that Pete's side has been unreasonable in its demands.
