- Original video sequence and theme song from the Littlest Hobo 1979 TV series. Music, guitar, and vocals by Terry Bush. Lyrics by John Crossen.
There's a voice that keeps on calling me
Down the road that's where I'll always be
Every stop I make I make a new friend
Can't stay for long just turn around and I'm gone again
Maybe tomorrow I'll wanna settle down
Until tomorrow I'll just keep moving on
So if you wanna join me for a while
Just grab your hat we'll travel light that's hobo style
Maybe tomorrow I'll wanna settle down
Until tomorrow I'll just keep moving on - Видеоклипы
This intro still brings tears to my eyes till this day. :)
Me too! Did anyone else use to find this song rather sad for some reason? :(
It made me cry quite often...
Absolutely....me and my father watching it together...😪😌💗
Generation x forever 😀🤙🏻🤙🏻
With you! Tears every time
Growing up in the 80's was by far best childhood for any child 💯
Remember walking out after supper and parents saying come home by 8?
Came home sweaty from hide and go seek or playing ball at the diamonds.
This show was ALREADY on TV by the Late 60's, it Was GREAT Even in Black & White.
70's into and through the 80's I would agree with. Whether here in the UK or the US, TV in the 70's and 80's was... Well... let's just say we had the best of it!
This song always make me cry 😢 and still does to this day
I'm getting this played at my funeral.
Mine will be Danger Bay intro. More dynamic.
Not too soon I hope.....
it is truly a beauty. You picked a winner for sure. GOD BLESS YOU Jack. However, may you live a very long time. Hugs
Sigh. I miss simpler times. We need a Littlest Hobo marathon right about now !!
The dislikes are from people who didn’t have a childhood
Fuckin right man!!!
100%
85k views and 11 dislikes .. I'd love to meet them ... Just to see how miserable they are

One of the Greatest TV shows ever made! I loved this show so much as a kid, and was always so Eager for Saturday Morning to catch the latest episode! Rest In Peace London. Please know that you were the Best of Boy's and brought a lot of light into a lot of children's lives, and I'm eternally grateful to you and the joy you brought.
Ya
Such a beautiful post!. 😍
At 55yrs, It is nice to comeback to that light and joy I remember as a child. Glad we have these videos , on demand forever now.
I still watch Stevie Wonder on sesame street Superstition (1973), I saw that on live TV when I was 5 or 6.
@@user-vw3ry6rm8k Do you know which Service streams this show?
Listening to this makes me so nostalgic, makes me want to cry as I reminisce my carefree childhood.
This song and the outro song from "The Racoons" still give me goosebumps!!!
Both series of Racoons 👍
run with us
The Raccoons were amazing.
I was looking for this sentiment and was not disappointed ^_^
The Racoons was my other fav on a Saturday morning!❤
Best childhood ever
NOW THIS IS CLASSIC TELEVISION AT ITS FINEST
A real Canadian TV icon "The Littlest Hobo" , just like "Mr. Dressup" (Casey and Finnegan), "the Beachcombers", "Hockey Night in Canada "(remember Peter Puck), and the best was "SCTV". He was always the wholesome Hero. Like the man with no name (Blondie) , he was the dog with no name (the littlest Hobo). RIP London.
It is nice to comeback to that light and joy I remember as a child. Glad we have these videos , on demand forever now.
Can’t forget the Friendly Giant.
@@WeirdoInTraining look up, way up! thnx
Best family show ever back in the day
Whenever I think my life is shit…I always return to watching and listening to this…the memories of watching this as a 7 year old circa 1980/81…
What a show. Loved that dog.
Fantastic series. Memories watching it in the 1980s on afternoon Australian television.
WHY ARE YOU CRYING!!??
My youth!
WHAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
I'm not crying. You are!!
Why are YOU crying!! 😂😂😂
By the way, if you are that hard, what are you doing watching the Littlest Hobo intro😂😂😂
Damn onion ninjas, breaking in to my house and cutting onions!

I still shed a tear!! Lol
Yep and literally every time I was so bummed that he didn’t stick around, yet I kept going back for more...

I love this show it had meaning! The dog was smart amazing.
Busts me up everytime.
You had me, I was ready to stop everything to watch the full episode!
This was my childhood, this is Canada to me! ^_^
Love it - better times
Takes me back to that warm spot in my heart, when things felt simpler
I remember this from my childhood
As well as repeats of the "Lassie" films on TV in the early 1980's, we also had "The Littlest Hobo" shown in the U.K., although I always found the song and the whole theme of the dog quite sad. It tugged on heartstrings and knew what it was doing.
I am suddenly 11 years old again and my mom and dad are still here .. 😢😢😢😢😢
A beautiful show. Loved it. That theme song really touched the heart.
The Memories 🐶💗💗💗💗
Love this. One of my fave shows growing up. It brings back so many happy memories
my dad was playing this in the living room before school and we both really liked it lol
I can not watch this show. I cry every time. London makes me feel so sorry for him .......... he saves everyone, does all the protection clips... he is just the most gorgeous, beautiful, smartest dog to this day. God bless him. He made Doggy Heaven the most fabulous resting place for ALL animals. MY HEART IS HUGE for dogs, most animals, but mostly dogs. Landon, i have adored since i was small. :* :* ♥♥
They used 5 different dogs that were all related and looked similar to make this second series.
@@DanceySteveYNWA thx Dancey for all this infor I never knew. YOUR AWESOME XXX
@@cutesmileb00tay no problem. These dogs and their trainer were very talented. I do believe that they're all relatives from the dog called 'London' , the original dog from the original series.
@DanceySteve love the history. Once again, Dancey U rock!!!
Your great country gave me the opportunity, despite living in South America, to live my childhood enjoying memorable series and their respective musical themes. This is one of my favorites
FINALLY the original , with real instruments, not the remake.
What remake?
This takes me back...its as if I just watched this yesterday...my brother and I used to wake up early on Saturday mornings to watch this...I loved this show and always will
My sister and I used to wake up early every Saturday morning to start watching this plus Saturday morning cartoons, those were the days.
The song and the show that always had me bouncing out of bed every Saturday morning when I was little❤
I always get tears with this song! Always ❤
Impossible not to cry if u grew up watching this as a child in Canada. Brings memories of a simpler time with no anxiety
Greatest childhood ever.
Never seen this show or heard this song before but it gives me nostalgia
A Canadian TV show. 1963-1965 and 1979-1985 series. Wholesome TV. The Littlest Hobo is the dog that travels around and gets into new adventures every show. As Canadian as SCTV. RIP London!
I loved this show I always wanted a dog friend, maybe one day
Walking the Earth righting wrongs. Love you Hobo
he was always the wholesome Hero. Like the man with no name (Blondie) , he was the dog with no name (the littlest Hobo). RIP London.
Oh man, I woke up early yesterday morning, flipped on CTV and there was a Littlest Hobo episode from 1980 (guest-starring a young Nicholas Campbell!). Had to keep watching, and boy oh boy did that take me back to my childhood. Needless to say, this theme song was in my head the rest of that day and into today, so I had to pop on to YT to seek it out!
"maybe tomorrow" has become the story of my life.
Loved this show as s kid. My young brother and i would watch it together.
Simple idea for a tv show but its simplicity was key to its popularity.
Wow it’s been a long time since I heard this. My eyes are getting moist 😂
I remember watching this in the 80’s. My grandparents and parents loved it. We would gather in the living room to watch.
In my area it was on Sunday afternoons. 4-5 pm. If I remember correctly. Maybe Saturday nights too.
Simpler times the 80’s. I wish I could go back
I just started watching this it is good
I loved this program
Back from when the world was worth something ❤
Littlest Hobo is my spirit animal
When I was a kid there was this one kid that moved away and would visit from time to time, but when he felt it was time to go home he would just leave unannounced until next time. For this reason I nick named him “the littlest hobo” The last time I was with him I literally turned around and he was gone again.Havent seen seen him now for many, many years
Funny thing for me. I STILL have a VHS with two episodes in it. The cassette, unfortunately, is somewhat damaged and tends to stop right before the intro. But I did like watching those two episodes when I could. Just watching this intro is putting a smile on my face.
The episodes are on YT
This always made me cry as a child watching this alone... Makes me cry even more by watching it..... knowing ing I'm not!
I am proud to be a Canadian for this show.
I love that song and the dog is cute . WOOF !
Brings back the memories this. Always remember, Saturday mornings this used to be on.
I always felt bad for Littlest as a kid, I wish he had a home with people who loved home.
My favourite show when I was little ❤❤❤❤
Shows where dogs are the main character are what is sorely missing from today's entertainment.
A Canadian treasure.

This was a favourite show of mine...... RIP London
Back when ctv actually had a good show

Hard out. Then little House on the prairie and the Walton's. And then either million dollar man or incredible hulk or fantasy island, knight rider, A team, greatest American hero haha.. List goes on my mans
great memories
Loved this show belfast 1980s escapism with the littlest hobo
Good times
"Can't stay for long, just turn around and I'm gone again/until tomorrow I keep moving on": years since I listened to this song - with good reason - as it tells us that our time is short and I've lost a lot of family and some good friends.
Have good times, when that's gone.............!..
Started watching this recently, I really enjoy it
I've got a lil 7 month old shepard cross I rescued and she makes me think of this song often. Her ears are a bit bigger and she's chocolate brown, but she's either always smiling or has a dopey-dog look on her when I rub her chest. Thank you Canadian 80's show! Next best intro music is _Danger Bay_ which is a high bar you've passed.
🥰🥰 love this song 🥰🥰 makes u happy 😍😍
greatest show in Canadian history
Love it. Loved this show. Xoo
Such a lovely theme and childhood programme. I forgot the hobo carried rifles though! 😟😄

I showed this to my mom and she loved and recognized it
This is the version of the littlest hobo. I didn’t know there was the original 1963
