ok so to be clear cause I was just going to ask you about this. The prices for Kanoxx Null is $65 and Noveunn Leen is $50 on Big Bad Toy Store. It sounded like you got them cheaper at LegionCon and I wanted to double check to see if that was accurate. Thanks @toygains
I can really appreciate your collection in the background. I have more of some lines than others but i have all kinds shapes and sizes when it come to my figures.
Hi, I came to know about Mythic and cosmic legions via MOTUC so new to them , legions sure are well sculpted but are these good quality plastic and how would you rate them in terms of long term wear and robustness as compared to MOTUC . I plan on getting some. Thanks
Classics is a much more durable plastic because Mattel is under the impression that they are still somewhat made for kids. Legions is high quality. They are meant to be popped apart for loot bashing. But every once in a while I've gotten a bad arm. Probably 2 of the 50 figures I've gotten from them.
@@Toygains yup I will be all over that! I have 2 Plunderlongs on pre order and one Plunderstrong on the way. I’m hoping they rerelease some of the original Plunderlings I missed out on but man the line is just so fun. I definitely want to attempt a scenic dio like their display. The artist posted his progress pics in a plunderling group when he was in the process of building it, so cool!
Make your own story with the figs, who has to say who fights who... even said i'm not a collector of cosmics but I did look up the first wave and the prison storyline with the green warden was the most fascinating out of mythic legions/anything four horsemen has done just because it reminds me of that old Riddick game haha
You’re off on the retail prices. Noveunn is $49 and Slogg is $95 retail. Also, Olek Thygar is one of the main characters (hero). All the lore is on the site (and some on the box)
Yeah, Armies of Ashmore (Defenders of Eden) by Ideas From Mars / Matthew Rodriguez are awesome. Can’t wait for those to ship. Someday I’ll make it out to LegionsCon from here in San Francisco…someday. Glad you had a good time. ✌🏾➕✊🏾
I've been wanting to try out Legions but their articulation and price (especially on secondary) keeps me away tbh. If I'm paying 60, 80, 100, or 200 bucks for a figure I don't want "pretty good," I want to be impressed. I'm gonna try a couple to give it a fair shake, but they're really gonna have to blow my butt off to be worth taking the place of the 2-3 Joes I could get for the same money.
@@Toygains Probably Cosmic. It looks easier to get into and I think the designs are generally more imaginative imo. I particularly like the snake face guy and the scorpion head lady.
Recently fell down the Cosmic Legions rabbit hole and really dig the figures. Got most of the guys tied to Slogg. Didn't go to Legionscon but Fourhorsemen were at Toylanta and that's where I got into them.
Ahh just every once in a while Dan will mix politics into his vids that just annoys me. Toys are my Getaway from that stuff. Don't need to hear one's political views unless it's vital to the subject you're discussing.
For the price I paid for the insect, the little arms should not fall off and come off easily. It is impossible to connect them, the same thing happens with the vampire vargg from mythic legions, the wings come off and do not connect
What I've done is by the most expensive first like slog and kraggnar first. As for dinosaurs am paring them up with my masterverse like the colossal t rex even and most dino trackers. I collect some mythics and other cheap figs but only what would fit in my savage world dio. Nice vid.
yeah I am digging the CL's better than mythics, but I was always more a fan of sci-fi than fantasy... even though they both have a place in my collection
I like fantasy more tbh but not being able to get the figures I wanted for anything resembling a reasonable price kind of killed Mythic for me. Some of these Coscmics do look cool though. I like the snake head guy.
these guys are cool, but just like Mythic Legions, i'm just gonna get the MotU homage figures and call it a day. there's only so much shelf space and the market is flooded with identical 6"-7" lines now.
The line is too much for me. I pick and choose 1-2 figures from each wave. Great sculpts and paint apps, very limited in articulation. Those animals on other hand are different game, the bear is tremendous, so that pre-ordered. If they do more animals I am game for it. 🙃
50 dollars to 70

Yes at legioncon and Toycon. Both in NJ. Four horsemen sell them there for much cheaper. 40 for a builder. 45 for a main figure. I got Slogg for 85.
That Dragon looking thing around the 9:37 mark was outrageous. Loved it, gotta get that

Nice! Still need to open mine before the year is out.
Which one ??
I love that Plunderlings display. I’m about 15 figures into that line with more on the way. Very fun line
That set up was incredible! That lizard in the cave is coming out at some point too.

Good point. That Riddick game needs a port to modern consoles. What a gem.

Should have gone with the grey builder, more options with the dome, great alien head, and gray body to paint

I wouldn't be able to remember Olek Thygar if it were tattooed on me, but thanks for clarifying.
So are the bugs bad? Or neutral to this and just run a prison?

Yup. Too many moving parts on that piece. Glad we're in agreement.
Same here. My wings would not stay in place. Over time it'll only get looser. The pegs should have be hexagon shaped ... not round.
