Hello there! Thank you for your comment, we really appreciate it that you watch our videos, thank you. The couple is starting on beat 4 of the music on purpose. We use this method for all our learning fellow students as it is much easier to start dancing on "Cha Cha Cha" which equals to "4&1" of the music count. So you count: 1, 2, 3... and start dancing on .. Cha Cha Cha. Hope this helps!
